Good idea, but it will probably dissolve into the usual squabbling!

Yeah cause Rossi again will be denied a win. I wonder what excuses he will have when he loses. Hey if he wins it will tighten things up a bit and he will have a win, but I want to see real close racing at the end like SBK last week.

Does he usually come up with some special excuses?

Well go back to last week and "something" was wrong with the bike. Then all of a sudden it was ok!? SUre it was.

Jerez MotoGP: Rossi: ‘I Can’t Win Like This’
By Mike Nicks

Valentino Rossi admitted after finishing fourth fastest in qualifying for the Spanish round of the MotoGP championship that there is no way he can win tomorrow’s race unless his team can improve the front-end settings of his Fiat Yamaha.

“No. Like this, no – no way,” was the reigning champion’s emphatic response when asked if he could beat his team-mate Jorge Lorenzo on the 2.75-mile Jerez circuit.

“I don’t have feeling from the front, and it’s difficult on the last part of the circuit because I’m not confident and I don’t have enough grip,” Rossi said. “I have movement, so it’s difficult to control the bike.”

The Italian will experiment with different settings in the morning warm-up in an attempt to win his first race of the year.

“Yesterday I was fast, so I didn’t expect to have these problems. We are trying to understand the bike, and we have some ideas for tomorrow.”

Rossi’s team-mate Jorge Lorenzo will start the third race of the season from pole position.

Here it started!

Are you an attention seeker or something ? Why would an 8 times world champion need to make "excuses", what the .... does he have to prove ? If he said he had a front end problem then he had a front end problem, or are you telling us you know better ??

well whatever u say i still think its tyres... for any rider.... you will see the fairshare of inconsistent rubber handed out again this weekend but who will get delt the faulties tomorow?... control tyre my ....

i think this is done to make the championship more interesting.

LOL come on I like rossi as well. But if he doesn't win he is going to need a reason why. He won't blame it on himself so he will blame it on the bike. He already lost since it is in his mind.

Rossi has blamed himself for race losses numerous times over the years. He knows full well there's serious talent on the grid and he cant possibly win every race. Plus these bike are set up so finite there is always the possibility that what worked yesterday wont work today and that can cost you the race. Correct me if im wrong but i took your post to imply rossi makes up false excuses if he doesn't win ?

Before pointing fingure on Rossi, i would like to remind you that Stoner always comes with some kind of excuse when ever he can't win.
I have to admit that lately lot of your posts are inspired by Pinky's hate for Rossi.

LOL look at you coming to his defence. I am not a Rossi hater just callin it like I see it. Shame how in order to make your point how you have to put Stoner down first. Lame dude. I am a big Rossi fan but not going to go all star eyed over him like some and most of you do. I am the same with anyone even Stoner. I was just glad to see someone could make my time worth it while watching a GP race the past few years. So put whomever down you want your not hurting my feelings.

Plus as far as Pinky goes if he hates Rossi or whatever ok. Just don't respond to his posts. I am just again seeing a pattern here with Vale. He lost last week and had no real explanation. HMMM for the DOCTOR that doesn't compute that is all. He is supposed to be the end all of bike development. He is responsible for the advent of the crossplane crankshaft. Hell that is awesome and a heeuuuge credit to the guy. Same vein for Stoner how the dude can tame the DUC, awesome. SO if I seem like I am bashing Rossi I am not. I just remember the days when he got beat by SETE and was MR. Sourpuss. I think Rossi can battle back no question. I just wonder if he is really up to it. By all of the ROssi boppers he should have won every race so far. He didn't as we know. Stoner fans and the rest do the same so not really surprising. But the Rossi faithful it is just a bit much and they lay it on thick. It is almost as though some of you are in love with the guy. Give it a rest. I thought we all wanted strong racing and tight battles. Hey if Stoner messes up and acts like a little girl I would easily be all over that just like anyone else. But there is to much of a ROssi contingency on this site so not many look to be impartial about Valentino. But they love to find anything to say about SToner or Hayden for the most part.

Look at Motegi. Where was the problem? As soon as the Dani boy was on him things were cured by some act of GOD? COme on he for some reason looked like he didn't want to push it and settled for second that is all I am saying. But he said something was wrong. YEah he was the problem not his bike. I just have a hard time believing him on that one. I know he will say it is his fault from time to time but what was said last week didn't add up. And so you know my friends that watched it also make the same comments and those dudes actually race bikes for real so I tend to take what they same a bit more than the armchair racers we have on the site.

Don't get me wrong rockgod01 i enjoy majority of your posts but your last 3 or 4 posts are all about rossi being in big trouble, which has nothing to do with close racing.Although i am rossi fan but at the same time i like close racing.
If some one give me option that you can have 17 races like laguna seca 2008 but rossi will come second in every race, i will take that with both hands.I think you need to face the reality that rossi is human being and he can't win every single race and by the way i like hayden and stoner and give full credit to stoner what he is achieving with ducati.

I am trying to keep the posts where rossi cant do wrong a bit more balanced. It comes across harsh but just look at last week and tell me there was a real bike issue. I don't believe it. I am a bit disappointed in Vale cause he is the man. The dude can wreck a bike and still finish on the box so come on. Hey if Vale loses the race is he in trouble? You tell me! I wouldn't say he is in great shape for the championsip. Neither is Stoner. Now Jorge on the other hand, someone better get in his face so to speak. Just not Dani, anyone but him.

Thats just it. He couln't put his Doctor finger on it which isn't like Rossi. It just made me skeptical thats all.
