Some of you have already read that Ben Spies Yamaha leave at the end of the season.

RadioSbk is able to reveal that he has signed for two years at BMW and will be next season's

team-mate Marco Melandri on the second bike brought by BMW Italia World Superbike.

An option for a return to the MotoGP season 2014 is also strongly considered.

Wasn't Nicky recently quoted as saying WSBK is for second rate riders or the second rate league?

Guess 2nd rate is good enough for Ben, but at least he now joins a list of other notable WSBK champions unable to succeed in Top Level GPs......

This guy has plenty of world championships too. Its what happens when a smart savvy business person (Carmelo) sells people exactly like YOU and many others (Yellow Army) ........ titles (Valentino Rossi).

I would say he has been pretty successful. Definitely not great, but successful. After all he joins a short list of race winners in GP. Something most just dream about.

BTW, do people tell you your a .... in real life or is it just your internet persona?

Sacky...it's just Migs being Migs...he claims that he's not anti-American. One weekend with Jumkie at 'Guna would change his whole persona!

So Nicky did say WSBK is the second rate league or was for second rate riders...and that is why he would not go to it .....

I am simply asking if Nicky said what i thought i read some one else on this forum posted, and if Nicky did say those things and Ben has decided WBSK is 'where he belongs'........Well it says something about Spies, doesnt it?, at least in Nicky's eyes....
