well at least Yamaha has signed someone to the factory team for 2011...
After he won the WSBK title....didn't he restructure his contract saying he would get a factory ride for 2011 anyway???
I believe he did, Yamaha knew long ago they couldn't keep the top two riders for another year.....
looks like Yamaha got Spies as a Factory rider for cheap.....compared to the cost of running Rossi and Lorenzo!!!! Of course Spies has not had a win or brought a title to Yamaha's GP program.....so I am sure the price will go up in conjunction with any wins or titles (like Rossi and now Lorenzo).
