so what wrong with the other ducati's???

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (michaelm @ Mar 31 2008, 02:39 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I am not saying nakano made an error at all, and was probably worrying about vermeulen rather than stoner. Stoner should have realised that a pass was on between the two, and he could have waited one more corner rather than trying an extreme move on a corner he had previously had problems with. I think he was focusing on the riders ahead and worried he would be caught behind 2 riders who were slower than them and him.

He showed poor judgement the whole week-end. Someone did a calculation and worked out he would have finished 5th if he had run the same time as last year, and he never really looked like he had the pace of the factory hondas or yamahas, so what point was there to pushing so hard early?. It probably does show how much he hates losing, but this is not a good thing given the calibre of the opposition (both riders and machinery) this year.

Seems like we agree here.
You must be careful when you say you agree with pinky, even with reservations

Stoner win = all rider
Stoner lose = all bike

Same story

Stoner rode off the track twice and the other Ducati riders wern't even in reach. WTF is going on?

Ehhhhh... Something to think about, indeed

Finally, after analyzing Stoner's riding style that could match Ducati's characteristics well, and blah blah...

We have also to consider the simple truth that Ducati - probably! - can not support more than 1 (one) bike and more than 1 (one) rider properly.

Knowing this, Capi decided to leave as soon as he saw he was no more that one rider.

Also another good reason why Hayden will not take a Ducati seat.

I very much doubt this. Ducati can and does support more than one rider. The problem is these riders can not harmonize with the unique characteristics of the Ducati.

Its all written in the Ducati software .....

all the signs are there.....

Its the electronic throttle control .......why do you need software conrolled throttle ....... so the machine can ride like the programmers want.

Its the GPS ........ why do they have a GPS? ........ so the machine can tell if stoner is in the front Ducati .. and adjust accordingly .... grouping the 3 Ducatis in a tight group, or mass of Ducatis, at the rear of the pack in such a manner as to create their own gravitational field hence attract all the other bikes backwards away from Stoner ( Stoner will be repelled further forward..... like charges and all
<
) ..... at Jerez Stoner had a hickup and got inadvertently caught in the gravity field and had trouble breaking free as the Ducati guys were watching an Alizzee concert and forgot to turn off the switch...... They were too busy laughing about how she can shake her bum like Stoner can out of a corner!!

Its the ECU .........why do they object to a conrol ECU ......... they need EMS ...... which they read to mean EMI ........ as in the radio mob ....... so they can ensure Stoner wins via the transmissions to the ECU via Radio Italia. Which by the way was first tried at Mugello 07 .... unfortunately Rossi being Italian intercepted the transmissions..

Its the Hidden, fuel tanks ...... in a tight bunch like that nobody can tell who is hiding the hidden fuel tank behind their back when they pass it around during scrutineering.

Its the tyres ......... back tto Alizee's bum ........ we want a tyre that looks as "smooth as Alizee's bum" the Ducati engineers said as they showed the Bridgestone guy a youtube of what they ment ....... all he saw was the shaking ......

Its the TC ...... with all that shaking going on The TC is just turned up to max. which is programmed to run like speed control on a youtube video ...... the idea for which the programmer got whilst they were watching an Alizee video in slow motion ...... which they found went from "hyper" to "mesmerick" ..... just the thing they needed as they had to hypnotise the rider to stay on it and not jump off in fear of his life!!

check this out:

Check out the Ducatisti all in red everywhere!

Does that not look like stoners bike exiting a corner??

What does the red patch mean!?? ( you want conspiracy! )

I think that must be the slowmo one ...... that distracted the Ducati engineers ...... matter of fact I'm pretty sure, but there's a simple test >>>>>

Barros wasn't of this opinion last year, he said D'Antin wasn't receving enough parts and technical support. Capirossi refused a third factory bike for him for 2008, saying it would have been impossible for Ducati to support it properly. Their words, not mine...

its not ducatis role to give techincal support to the d'antin team u git.

so long they supply the same parts and they are getting that. and the same tires, the rest is up to the team. like suspension setup, tire selection, and whatever the .... you or i dont know about and dont pretend u know any better.

to say only stoner can ride this bike coz it has been designed around stoner is utter .........

this bike was built/evolved around loris caparossi, who did ok on it, but when stoner rode it it felt perfect for him, if it wernt for stoner, loris would still be #1 man at ducati and would still be a perfect bike for loris, but stoner has outridden his ... from day dot.

actually its only a blow up doll that rides the #1 ducati, its all done remotely by a super computer from the space station Mia.

when the tv goes to commercial they quickly swap over the blowup doll for stoner.

you have to be quick to notice it, its all in the shadows and see how they always cut to commercials or to the commentators just before the end of the race???

its so obvious

How is anybody supposed to run a machine that sophisticated without technical support from the manufacturer?
Hellooooooooooooooo

so dantin team is run by a few backyard bashers? oh give em a bit more credit will ya.

and of day, just like melandri has proven, u get all the support in the world, wont make u into a world beater.

cant deny there not trying with marco

I take it you think the 2006 LCR honda got all the new developments for the factory team during the 2006 season? I don't.

Even if they start off with similar gear which d'antin may have last year if they get any new bits it is after some delay. I gather they are not exactly flush with funds either with barros saying he didn't have a suspension technician.
