So, Stoner blames his tire for the crash?

Yeah I agree with this. Stoner is under the pressure of bringing in title number two in and I think his is fully capeable of doing so. I just think for the most part Rossi is going to get it unless he starts to run into machine trouble which isn't far fetched.

Yeah now that's a sign of a true champion, mediocrity.

Why push yourself and strive to be the best in life when you can half ... your way in life and if you're lucky.... somehow end up on top, right? NO, i don't think so.

Are you talking about 2009?

No. Mathmaticly Rossi is in Total command of the Championship UNLESS the next few races his motor blows or he crashes would there be a chance of Stoner or someone else possibly winning the title. For 09 Casey hopefully for me and the rest of Ducati fans will be stronger more mature and more relaxed to go out and Dominate like I have believed since I have seen him in his first gp start as a kid.

And with a faultless season so far, technically speaking, it's not far fetched that the engine suddenly starts falling appart? I don't get this, are there some more woodoo stuff going on here?

HAHA no. I just know that anything can happen and we all know it. Who knows. I mean .... look when Pedrosa wrecked Hayden and we all thought well that's it. He goes out after Valencia as the champ. HOLY .... we all said. I know that the chances of ROssi having an engine failure or crash is unlikely but probable.

YEah no .... I need to start really putting it in for Rossi. The problem is I like him and he is really my Fav rider. He just needs to be on that Ducati for me thats all. Hmm I guess I will need more Crows feet and eye of Newyt. LOL. Na I am just messin with that ..... I can only hope for things to happen good for both riders. BUT when it comes to Lorenzo and Pedrosa my voodoo works like a ...... charm!!! Must be cause I can't stand either of them. Funny thing is though recently I am starting to like Jorge since he has shown serious intestinal fortitude riding as hurt as he is. Friggin trooper he is with his ability to grunt through a race where the guy has to be in alot of pain.

At least we do agree that he should have been on a Ducati. But with MotoGP I'm rooting for the rider, not the bike so it has to Rossi. Anyway, I really enjoy how Ducati beat the big four at their own game, building the fastest bike with inovative engineering and quick turn arounds. Kind of remove any doubts about their ability to make fast bikes and makes the whole "Ducati's unfair advantage in SBK" look like just another bad excuse.
<

Edit: Yeah, seems like most here are warming up on Lorenzo, me included. Not only his work ethics but also a lot humbler and honest version. He really did some thinking before the season start me thinks. Something a certain Ducati rider should look closer into if you ask me.

I don't buy into Stoner being cocky at all. I just think he defends his position as best as someone who has been accused of its not the rider its the bike scenario ..... He is good as hell and I think he deserves the credit. I am just tired of hearing this and that about his attitude. I just don't see it and trust me if I did I wouldn't like him or his crappy attitude if he had it. I am hoping Nicky brings some stability and motivation to Ducati next year so either of them can fight for the podium. .... I want Hayden to be chamo if it is indeed true he is going to ducati.

I don't think he has a bad attitude, words just don't come out right all the time. Beides, who am I to complain. I relly don't care what these guys says after the races at least not on a popularity scale. I'm not here primarily to like the guys as persons. I here to watch great racing first of all.

Yes why not,

Actually not only Rossi and his fans and a lot of other motogp fans BUT, the commentators on

Eurosport and BBC and Dutch tv`s believe in it and they have mentioned it a few times.

If I was Rossi I'd be thanking my lucky stars that Stoner crashed out 2 times in a row cripes he can't even catch up to Stoner anymore. Time to retire...oh ya, Friday...bored as hell.

........ the commentators who are british on my TV we saying that it had nothing to do with pressure being out that far in front. His hand or the tire had to be blamed. No .... Rossi is gonna say of course its the pressure guys damn I am valentino rossi how dare anyone think differently. You try riding a bike at speed injured and I will say it was the pressure from valentino.

I can't vouch for the BBC or Dutch TV, however Eurosport commentators did lean towards pressure being the major factor for his crash. This was also the opinion of Mamola who watches the race through his Ducati glasses.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>His hand or the tire had to be blamed.

Your not serious are you? Firstly his wrist couldn't of been that bad, he was hardly pottering about. Secondly ever heard the expression "a poor workman blames his tools"? Had to be the tyre ha you make me laugh. It's simply a crap excuse, from a guy who can't face the real fact, that he pushed to hard. He just needs to take it on the chin, admit his mistakes like a man.

you mean exactly how he did it in Brno?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BigAl @ Sep 8 2008, 01:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>you mean exactly how he did it in Brno?

As in Laguna, he put his hands up and said the mistake was all his fault.

Of cousre the pressure from Valentino was a factor in the crash but its not the full reason, All the factors we know about the hand injury, the tyre, the pressure, tyring too hard and wanting the win so bad all combined and the result was another DNF. There is no one single factor to that crash
