100 posts rossi rules. keep up the posts of letting us know who is your favorite and the best. haha

It will get better. It has progressed greatly in terms of speed and acceleration in these past two years. Paul Denning is a badass being a team manager.

Suzuki will get better but at this moment in time I think we better wait for rain. Motegi is a good track for John though, so we will see.

As I said before,I think Hopper re-signed with the promise of big money development from Suzuki. Now he is able to commit we may see bigger improvements from Hopper, hope so anyway.

Got a bad feeling the Brits are gonna be overlooked again for the europeans. Can`t blame the team though, foreign riders seem to bring better money/sponsors along with them.Anyway whatever happens the Brits have still got BSB or WSBK.

<div align="right<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
no! suzuki will never catch up. the gsvr is a boat anchor. suzuki get to start from scratch with the new motor rule. hopper will have to wait for the new 800. for his sake i hope suzuki get it right

Shakey Byrne looks likely to be at Suzuki next year so there go your Brits drill. With Paul Denning being British and having lots of experience at BSB he can recognize British talent. Byrne looks very likely to replace KrJr at Suzuki.

That is guna be really exciting, Byrne on a Suzuki!! The way i see it, can they go backwards? prob not. Things should def be on the up for suzuki. Byrne might not be a world champ(as KRJR is) but he has massive talent and an even bigger desire(IMO) to be successfull, Shakey is hungry for success and although its not the most competitive bike its still a factory jobbie and fair fxcking play to the guy i say. I remember when he was racing the privateer powerhouse suzuki in BSB kickin factory .... Go shakey. Hopper also has the same desire so suzuki should be chuffed i say.

I do not know much about Shakey except that he was good in BSB and kicked some .... I do know that he is John's good friend and they will make a good team if they are together.

I do not know if he has skill as a development rider or anything else about him.

Do any of the British posters want to enlighten me?

Sorry mate dont know too much about shakey apart from he won the BSB privateer cup in '01 beating a few factory bikes along the way. Then in '03 he absolutely dominated the series on his monstermob 998 winning the BSB title with many wins. He is very down to earth and a top bloke who is brutally honest. a british hero for sure. If anyone else can enlighten us further on his history that would be great.

i really dont know much about shakey but for both hopper and shakeys sake i hope that suzuki gets their act together. they both have huge talent and could be up front if the suzuki was faster than molasses in january

Ladies and gentlemen here are the latest rumors making their rounds in the MotoGP paddock.

Telefonica Movistar will leave MotoGP to become the title sponsor for the Renault F1 team. That being said, Gibernau's contract was with Telefonica and not Honda. So for next season if Honda offerred him a ride, which is looking very unlikely, it would be in a lower standing position than he is at the moment being a factory rider on a satelite team. He would be 100% satelite just like Melandri, Barros, Bayliss and Tamada. Ducati have upped their bid for Gibbers offerring 4 million euros to the Catalan with full factory support and full support from Birdgestone (as it is known Michelin leaves most of their testing to Rossi and Edwards). If Gibernau is to stay at Honda he will need support from whoever Gresini's new sponsor turns out to be or else he will most likely be riding the Duc in 2006.

As has been said for the past month Rossi will be fielded in his own one man team to be sponsored by Alice and Nastro Azzurro. If it does go through Altadis, controlling company of Gauloises and Fortuna have announced they will leave Yamaha for most likely Gresini Honda. If that is the case their money will put Toni Elias alongside Marco Melandri in the Honda camp. That leaves a factory Yamaha seat and factory Yamaha sponsorship open. No word yet on what rider or company will fill those voids.

That is what is going round the rumor mill and you can read the full report at www.crash.net

hey great stuff Ooost. anyone have an idea who would most likely fill that last yamaha spot?

mmm seems to me Honda keep shooting them selfs in the foot, surley Sete is there best rider, well the one that can foot it Rossi most often, and now seems he's gonna be shut out from a works Honda.

Hope Sete gets that ride, equal equip to Rossi and the summer spent at the shrink, might be really interesting next year

Hope he dosn't go to Duc the Brigestones are a liability

I believe Honda have faith in the future stars that will be in the Repsol garage in 2006. They are holding out hope that Hayden will fill the bill that came with him in 2003 and there is a lot of faith and expectations in Pedrosa. Better to put it into two young riders than riders in their 30s.

As far as who could get the factory Yamaha ride alongside Edwards, Hopkins would have most likely been a candidate, Jeremy Burgess has said there are teams in MotoGP interested in Casey Stoner so he must be a candidate. And just to throw a wildcard into the mix I would look to... Kenny Roberts Jr. (gasp). He has had a dismal past 4 seasons but they have all been attributed to an underdeveloped motorcycle and lack of motivation. Put him on a Yamaha and you have to believe both of those problems would be solved. It's a long shot but it may be worth the risk of a one year contract.

Marbles, I haven't heard anything about Yamaha having any offers on the table to Gibernau so I don't think it is very likely but a possibility none the less. Should Rossi leave for F1 in 2007 as is rumored, Yamaha will be looking for another top rider (especially if Edwards can't run up front more consistantly) and if they already have the services of Gibernau enlisted then that rider search is done.
