Sete may not be going to Ducati now,and from Checa`s ride today on the Duke I think Checa should stop where he is.The Ducati team seems well balanced now.Sete could be taking a Camel seat apparently.

not bothered either way but sete to ducati is still a very hot rumour surely

Sete to Ducati. Stoner offered a Pons ride. Biaggi and Barros out of MotoGP? The commentators seemed to think Stoner would be riding the Pons Honda in 2006 should the team exist. It seems that Honda want to steer clear of tobacco money in 2006 and have told Sito Pons to find another sponsor to replace Camel and if he can't find another sponsor then to find another supplier.

they ain't steerin clear of tobacco $. fortuna & gresini already officialy presented! what i can't fathom is why yamaha are letting honda steal away a young talent like stoner!? they have no young up & commers. what the hell are they gonna do when rossi leaves?
<

I would assume it may have something to do with the fact that Gresini and Fortuna had already signed. One tobacco sponsor is enough? Who knows, all I know is I read an article by Julian Ryder said Camel is very likely out at Pons Honda.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>what the hell are they gonna do when rossi leaves yes I've been wondering the same, they seem to have no long term plan, bit of a worry really or they are placing a lot of faith in Edwards, or they know Rossi is gonna stay.

Bet Yam make Rossi an offer he can't refuse

u never know with rossi wot hes gunna do but ive always said id b surprised and dissapointed that rossi dosnt try out the 800cc bikes...

Maybe they asked themselves that same question right before they approached Casey Stoner?

The cover of Motociclismo mag says "Stoner to Pons Honda", this magazine is usually a very reliable source of info.

Spaniard newspaper AS (www.as.com) also considers the Stoner-Pons deal as done. What is still needs to be solved is what bikes will Pons use next year since it seems Camel has parted ways with Honda, so maybe it could be Pons Yamaha.
It also adds that Cardoso will return to MotoGP with Ducati D'antin.

D'Antin Ducati is rumored to be using 2006 Ducatis with Bridgestone tires and a two rider lineup.

Ellison and Cardoso did testing for D'Antin at Valencia. Rolfo is not confirmed there yet and he may be losing his ride. Rolfo is either keeping his seat with one of the two riders coming in or he may be totally out. Either Ellison because he is very well rated rider or Cardoso because he has good sponsorship. I'd rather go with Ellison, Cardoso has been in MotoGP before and he didn't prove much.

Byrne has not tested for any team yet so he is still inconclusive about a ride next year.

Glad to hear Stoner is in MotoGP. From what I've read, despite the Honda, Pons and Camel debates Sito Pons does not want to lose his relationship with Honda. He will try as hard as he can to call Honda's bluff and keep his Camel sponsorship but at the end of the day he will stick with Honda and ditch Camel if he has to. That's what some seem to think anyways and I don't think I disagree with them.

So do I,Teo.I think Rossi would savour the challenge of a new 2 wheel formula more than a 4 wheeled one.

Yamaha Tech 3 will be testing with Ellison and Dunlop tires in Sepang. Nothing is confirmed, but Dunlop seem very interested in increasing their performance in MotoGP and Poncharal (team boss) is interested in having Ellison.
It could end up being a one man team since Tech 3 is not a very wealthy team.

Guess I should have read that before I posted about Ellison!

Todays news.

Jeremy McWilliams is rumoured to make a return to MotoGP. Riding a KTM machine for the WCM squad.

He is currently in discussions with their team manager Peter Clifford, about riding the machines for the 2006 season.

They are developing their plans around the KTM V4 engines and have also spoken to Alex Hoffman also.

Guess theres still life in the "old dog yet".
