Reading of you guys speak of Cal getting on the Duc is sending shivers down my spine!

As hard as it is for Nick to accept, it may be the best thing to happen to him in years. I would love to see Nick on a competitive bike in WSBK....if there are any that is?

Another year at T3 would be VASTLY preferable to jumping ship to the Duc.

Apart from his colorful mouth, I don't get much of a read on Cal. Is he THAT dumb/egotistical to think that he can somehow succeed where so many others have failed? I don't yet rate him above Nicky, and don't expect he'll do any better. Even if he WAS a marginally better rider, how many places is that worth, 1 or 2? It's not like he's gonna be wearing out the podium steps....

Me and Levigarret were talking about Hayden before the first race of the season. I said then that I had a feeling Nicky might get moved onto the factory WSBK Ducati team at the end of the season. With the Panigale's first season in WSBK, and the American marketplace so important for Ducati as a business, Hayden seems the obvious choice.

Ducati can then recruit someone new to try and get results on the GP bike, whilst retaining a guy who will have a chance of a title in WSBK

Believe me, had a few chats with him and I'd put him in the keep it real category.

He is however guilty of putting his mouth in gear before his brain sometimes

Hayden would seem the obvious choice, but marketing would/should is the least reason why it would make sense. First and foremost, it would make sense because Hayden is the most talented and hardest working rider Ducati employ.

He did compare his riding style to Stoner's, although I think if Stoner was on that Tech 3 Yam I think we would see a far different outcome to what Cal has achieved so far.
