Went there for a visit today by taxi, as expected the track was pretty much like a ghostown, and unfortunatly It was a little too late to gain entrance to the circuit for a quick tour which usually costs 30RMB approx £2.00

however I did hear a lone 2 stroke hurtling around the track for practice i expect..


I managed to get some shots outside the circuit, mainly of the main Grandstands and entrances so enjoy all the same, the surrounding areas are very flat marshlands and agricultural areas with a lot of property development in progress.

awesome dazz! my wifes cousin was at the race this past season. he fly's for a air transport outfit & was there at the time of the race. i just found out about it. knucklehead just said something the other day on the phone!

Dazza thats superb, I love seeing pics like that, gives ya a feeling for the place rather thatn the standard TV veiws ya. Awesome

Yay no problem folks..


Its always an eye opener to get a real feel for the place without the crowds, as u probaly noticed the weather is pretty overcast here too, thats mainly down to the pollution levels that is extremely high with all the ppl living in Shanghai and the amount of vehicles here on the road, which may i add is a complete lottery crossing

I found this main online ticket seller that dealt with the main distribution last year so it gives a rough idea on pricing etc.

Funny that Daz I was thinking exactly the same thing when I was looking at the pic's, that the air looked thick enough to chew.
