Round 8 Sachsenring ... predics, practice, quali

Rossi in top 10. Interesting...im starting to think he faked his injury..........
<
(oh how long before the Boppers start telling us how "incredible" his comback is?)

Nicky, 3rd in FP1, uhm... well he was 3rd in Assen FP1 and that turned out like ...., so I'll take a wait & see approach.

IMO this is a fair way off what will happen today, hopefully it will stay as close but the order will change a bit.

Spies is very impressive, I thought the duck needed much more development???

Well...that didnt take long.

Nice edit on your original post!!!! Leave it like it was!! Unless you believe you are the powerslide Evangelist! Hail the Forum Guru oh Jum

Its all smoke and mirrors people.........two can play at that game

FP1 was academic. Rain forecast for the next 2 days. I wonder what Rossi will do?

The new gyroscopic camera was wild looking. Very cool. Too bad they only showed 3 seconds of onboard from Rossi's bike.

Good ride from Rossi, so far, so good. Like the new gyro camera trickery. And im sure i even spotted Stacey Moaner smiling for a second, but he has got what he wanted now so.............

Love the new gyroscopic on board camera pictures - dontcha think Berry?

Are you suggesting that because a Gyro is useful for, and can hold a camera in a plane, then it is good for determining of positioning on a track?

Go ahead show us, and the scientific/engineering comunity, how

I can see why you "skid" it into corners Ereb. no need to convince me of your intellect

I thought stoner couldn't develop.

As I said the ducatis looked fast in fp1, although well off last year's pace and the likely ultimate pace this week-end, and I agree with those who suggest jorge may be sand-bagging. My main complaint about the gp10 is that it does or did not suit stoner but is still not a threat for the top step of the podium in anyone else's hands. It is ducati's bike and they can design it any way they like, and with stoner's absence last year and the likelihood they perhaps knew even last year that he wasn't staying their direction is understandable.

I still have doubts that with fundamental differences from the yamaha the current ducati can be developed into a similar bike which is capable of winning, as they seem to have been attempting , and they may be left high and dry if valentino stays with yamaha. if as seems likely he goes to ducati he will go in the belief that he at least will be able to win, and will probably be right, and he would have the clout and knowledge to influence favourably the design/development of the new formula bike as j4rno implies.

Well lets face it, there's only 4 guys-Maybe 5 who can consistently challenge for the race win, if you don't have one of these riders then your in a race for 5th at present. Which is a shame.......The duck just needs the right rider for its current package for its already proven it can run at the front. I think they aren't doing too bad of a job, they needed to build a more user friendly package for both the engine rule and riders other than Stoner-they couldn't continue on the same path as 08 and 09. Ducati have taken a much more realistic approach in re-thinking the GP10 in order to get more riders nearer the front for greater feedback, as Yamaha and Honda do........Both the latter have also stumbled a lot on the way.

I still believe Stoner can't develop a championship winning motorcycle at present, I don't believe he had much of a say in the GP10 at all as IMO his talent lies in riding not developing. And really, in comparison to Rossi and Burgess who can?

Oh Holliest of Holy's, be graced your soul for bestowing upon thee the grandest of art's- The Edit Post Function..........!

Use of the edit post function is only sinful if someone has already replied to the post imo.
