Amazing pace from rossi all things considered. It is looking good for him from many points of view; if he is going to ducati the red bikes are looking pretty fast. Spies mightily impressive too.

I begin to hold some hope of stoner re-finding his mojo; consistent and plentiful laps with not much fiddling and on the hard tyre too for which barry has been waiting.

Yeah its coming back but I felt edgy watching his fast laps.

Rossi, yes good run but I think stamina may get him, understandably. He ran out his fast laps early but was taken over toward the end. Indicating he has the speed but not able to maintain it yet.

Edit: I was watching a spanish version so I'm not sure what they were saying but they were showing footage of Rossi's foot and knee in contact whilst cornering ( I was cringeing at the thought of it ). Maybe he knocked his knee and thats why his later laps did't get faster? Anyone hear what they were saying?

Looks almost like SBK. 4th-17th within 1 second. Colin is only .25 slower than Ben but he's 9 places back.
