Nicely done piece. Re: Electronics - we've discussed them no end: I have nothing to add where that's concerned (at least right now) - but watching this, seeing with what aplomb Rossi handles the constant barrage of cameras and stupid questions, it reminds for the millionth time why he became such an ambassador for the sport. JKD speaks of the amount of time top riders spend doing promos and going to various events as if such things were the glimmering equivalent of the world of fashion - which has itself been countless times had it dark underbelly exposed, missing the point, being, doing this stuff day in and day out is incredible drudgery. Imagine if Rossi hadn't had to spend all that time and energy making nice for camera; how much more focused he would have been on racing - as Stoner was. Said it many times - never been a Rossifan in the cult-of-personality sense, but gotta say, I'm hating seeing him trailing around in 4th all season long. I really hope he makes it back onto the podium a few more times before he calls it quits. Gonna be a lot of guys crying in their beer the day he retires.
