I will try make a point that I haven't really seen though parts have been touched on.
I am/was a Rossi fan as well of a fan of others including Marquez and Lorenzo. I know that's gonna be sacrilege to many on here. I appreciate all or most of the riders. Most of all just a fan of great racing as I think many are that's why PI was so awesome.
That being said I'm not even gonna go on about the events of the race in Sepang that's been beaten to death. The point of this is Rossi poisoned the well before race even began with the prerace presser and his ridiculous comments to the Italian media.The things Rossi said have caused all of this .... storm. Not Marquez Not Lorenzo or anything else the blind Rossi worshippers wanna throw out there. Rossi's words poisoned the atmosphere to the point of if he wins the championship he can say he did it in spite of the so called conspiracy between MM and JL. If he loses the championship he can also say he lost it because of the conspiracy between MM and JL. Let's say MM kind of had it out for Rossi or if he didn't. He sure as hell was gonna have it out for him after Rossi's words. Dare I say if MM or any other driver had said such words against Rossi I wonder how the Golden boy would react? I think every body on here that is level headed and reasonable knows the answer to that.
And sick of hearing about JL's supposed unsportsmanlike behaviour. WTF was he supposed to do after Rossi put him in the corner like that? Again tables turned Rossi would take the high road? Rossi's words have also tainted the championship for JL should he win because we all know what's gonna be written on here and other sites by the Rossi Sheople.
I for one am glad JL said some of the things he said. At least he was being honest and speaking his mind not following the buttoned up company line.And btw DP pretty much said and agreed with JL he just probably did it in a nicer more diplomatic way. But he also doesn't really have any skin in the game as far as championship goes does he.
And for me if I had any doubt about what went down that left when it came to the post race presser and guess who no shows and leaves DP and JL there alone to deal with the .... storm HE CREATED. Tell me Rossi sheople how is that fair and sportsmanlike?
And then the unbelievable stuff about the petition page to drop Rossi's penalty and also fans tweeting other rider to just let Rossi through without a fight? Are you flippin' kidding me. I can't believe that's even a thing.
Many may not look good in this thing but IMO it is all because Rossi poisoned the whole thing with just his words.
Sad to write this cause after PI I don't think I've ever been so excited to see last 2 races and what the outcome was gonna be but because of Rossi"s Words I think this is gonna leave a bad taste in every body's mouth no matter what side your on.
I really couldn't decide before who I wanted to win because I really like Both VR and JL. After VR's antics now 100% behind JL for championship.
