You should perhaps remember that this all started with unprovable accusations by Valentino, so it could be argued that some of that with which you disagree is in opposition to MM-hating, or to a lesser extent JL-hating.

I don't agree with psychology by internet, particularly cod psychology, however if the poster involved was a real psychologist he was at the very least not engaging in cod psychology. You may have a different opinion as is your right, but more than a few people with no history of "Rossi-hating" considered his allegations about the PI race to be rather bizarre, particularly given that MM won the race; MM whilst not perhaps in the camp of those with no prior history with Rossi appeared to me to consider it bizarre himself. Bottom line is if he can favour a rider with such subtlety while riding legally in a race he still wins while also riding fast enough for Dani Pedrosa to be left 5 seconds behind there is nothing anyone can do about it anyway, and it would make it very likely he actually is the greatest rider in history.

Exactly this.

Rossi fans are claiming Marquez manipulated a race, then gassed it enough to make everyone look slow on the last lap and win, and those very same fans are trying to claim that Rossi (and not Marquez) is the GOAT?!

If their claims are true, then in the words of the great Johnnyknockdown "The only other dude who pulled that off is Jesus, and that ....... is LEGENDARY"
