Rossi appeals FIM stewards decision

So, what would your judging be if an incident happened at Valencia where one rider decided to make a move up the inside of Valentino, slowed down to a snails pace, barely turned into the corner and just so happened to knock Rossi off?

Using the logic of the people that want this decision overruled, then no penalty what so ever could be given to that particular rider.

Basically

Yes VR is right in appealing the decision.

All through this year, Yamaha has favored JL for the championship, treating JL almost like a God!

- VR was given a penalty just because JL complained - even though JL was on pole!

- JL said that VR should be given a bigger punishment after the MM incident

-Yamaha always gives VR a slower bike than JL - consistently!

JL can get away with murder it seems!

The truth should be known. The video should be available to everyone in slow motion. The fact that MM hit VR first, and that VR only had an automatic reflex reaction and did NOT kick MM should be known.

MotoGP is becoming horribly biased by visibly supporting JL and MM. No point watching such a biased sport.

I can't say I agree that they give Vale a slower bike.

Jorge is the number one rider in the team, so I suppose there is a slight favoritism toward him.

Has anyone thought of the scenario that Rossi wants it lifted so he can start up the front, take himself and Lorenzo out, game over whether the CAS decide against him or not........... He's that cunted off with Marquez and now Lorenzo I wouldn't bet against it!! Oh I love Motogp and Rossi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

But he's so pretty, how can you not!!!!!!!!! :snog:

Since I am so completely unbiased and want to see a fair outcome for all the FIM should consider starting Marquez from the back of the grid right next to Rossi...after all he was the one who crashed into VR!!!!!!!!!!!

MM will be happy to be close to Rossi. It will force a crash and end of story.

Can they just start Dani, JL, VR, and MM all from the back.... Holly Hell that would be a interesting race to watch. I wonder what the Over/Under would be on how many people get taken out!

High Side for FIM President!?!?!?!?!?!?

Kropo has a good write up of the situation...and has a good explanation of the timeline....

In short...a preliminary decision on the request to suspend the penalty points until CAS hearing has to be given by Nov. 6....if request is denied then Rossi starts at the back of the grid...if request is accepted then he starts at whatever pace he qualifies...
...the CAS can take between 6 to 12 months to hear the case....so this could go into 2016, and possibly 2017 season (if Rossi doesn't retire at end of next season)....

You only have 30 minutes to file a complaint after the race ends.
That 30 minutes has long gone and at this point in time, it is impossible to penalize MM or any other riders for what happened in Sepang.

Case closed

.... that idea. Cheaters should start last (=Rossi). All others deserve their starting position based on their qualifying result. MotoGP is not the Muppet show.
