Amazing in my view. These little European kids might actually learn some bike control. The 600 class is going to be better than the premier class.

Don't forget the Asians.

Well for the factories it is ofcourse a good thing with stabillity so with all those restrictions there might be the same rules for a longer period and more factories can join in.That's good.
The thing is i would hate to see a Honda chamionship.

Or an even better (and correct) word would be 'momentum'. Inertia is rotational momentum.

Sorry.

Inertia is in no way exclusive to rotation.

It is really sad that the cadet class is losing its value so badly.
What, a 600cc 4 cyl. engine simply means stock origins. SAD. BAD.

They should have kept the old 2-strokes scale as they were with 125-250-500cc, where you had the cylinder unit of a 125 that could become a twin-cylinder 250 or a 4-cyl. 500.

That is to say, with 800cc 4-cyl. as premier class, one should have a 400cc twin-cylinder cadet class and then a single cylinder 200cc junior calss. All 4 strokes. They could even keep the same frames that way!

Ducati could have easily prepared and sold to teams a 400cc V-twin desmo kit to compete in the cadet class, or even a 200cc single to compete in the junior class.
Same for all other manufacturers. Economies of scale, no need to re-design from scratch the base cylinder-head unit.

Really a pity...

The riders who had the good fortune of growing on the 250cc will dominate the premier class for the next 10 years. No way this 600cc class is going to be as formative as the old 250.

Thank god for the Red Bull Rookies series. No doubt a some of the future GP talent will come from there.
