Regardless of how good or bad the dude at the back was..it was more exciting...

and lapping 20 riders always made it interesting

i think 30-35-40 would be a bit too much
but 20-25 would be fine
 
I miss the days of old alot, where the racing was so close and the crashes where brutal...

Barring on some injuries and some DNF's I think at some point we may see only 14 or so riders on the grid.

exactly....lose one or two guys and the grid is empty...

look at WSBK..28 riders!...noe thats the way it should be.

no place on a proper gp team. so send him to sbk for a bit of big bike racing. then honda will get him a seat on an rcv. maybe nakanos ride. or nickys when his contract runs out at the end of this season. guess it would be less friction in the team with a nice polite unintimadating close to the same size japanese fellow in the team so as not to upset pedrochio.
