We've come a LONG way
<

I've been watching some 500 GP Reviews (84-88)
This has GOT to be the ugliest bike EVER in the premier class.
in fact THE ugliest GP bikes EVER were in the 80's.
<

The mid to late 80's 500 ELF Honda.

Wow. Looks like no one watched or owns the movie Faster...
Frosty is spot on....
Hoppers started with Yamaha and then moved to suzuki.

Last years and year B4 Team KR bikes are possibly the worst machines ever put on a grid.

really?

2006, team KR only finished outside the top 10 twice. KRJR also almost won at Estoril '06. The majority of the riders on the grid don't have that good of a record.

Sorry did you not read the first post ?

I thought this was about looks and not performance.
Now, can i your opinion on the look of the machine in question ?

Last years KR's bike was pretty nice, even Honda admired their style of hiding the exhaust underneath, if you look at the 08 Honda where did they put it

yes of course I have watched faster but it is very old! Could have sworn they were on suzukis oh well learn something new

only squids care about looks

but since you apologized, i forgive you

Just from pictures and videos I have seen, I feel that the 500s from the early 90s up until the final years of the 2-strokes are the best looking bikes ever made. The bikes were compact and sleek, which are the two factors that spring to mind when I think of prototypes. Today's larger 4-strokes look big in comparison; They look like superbikes at times.
