I just wanted to ask if anyone can give me details (anyone from france/europe maybe?) on something that happened in a race over in france i believe, last year(?)

Basically it's a guy on a kawai - zx-10r i think - who is racing on one of the first laps and he stands up while in the lead, and looks under his legs - like back between them to check the people behind him, then goes to sit back normal and loops a wheelie.

Was that from Le Mans 24 hour moto race? something else? who was the rider? any details?

the crash was during an endurance race, the bol d'or in france at magny cours. I have the video on my computer, but I have no clue how to get it on the forum! the guy that crashed is david morillon and it was at the first round of the race that he looked between his legs and crashed!!

no, it was the first lap

he qualified at place 11 and when he crashed he was 1
