Qatar !

great race. loved the battle between rossi and hayden, overtaking and attacking eachother. nice to see that nicky finally made an attack on the rider in front of him. I honestly couldn't remember seeing him doing that, in the previous races when he lost a place he always felt down and never got closer to person in front of him. but 6 podiums in a row is realy good, he deserves a win (maybe istanbul!)

nice to see gibbers staying on his bike, realy sad to see vermeulen and hopkins quiting the race. hopkins was realy mad AND unprofessional to kick his bike like that. I think we should re-name de puinet in to the crashey type, first lap and he's down again
<
stoner did a great job, but marco was disapointing (realy disapointing if you have him as your number 1 rider in the fantasy motogp team, like MOI
<
)

3 weeks till istanbul!!

I hated this race, it was sooo predictable.

When Rossi let Hayden pass and looked behind to see if someone was coming it was clear he was going to win it. His plan was to do a "Sete" on Hayden, follow him, studying his lines and then attack him in the last lap leaving the hapless Nicky 2nd. But when he looked back and saw Loris he knew he had to play plan B, attack now and get away.

Nicky was good, but he is the playing the part Sete played in 2004, and we know how that ended, I hope he gets smarter than Sete (and that 10€ bet I made may have some future).

Loris was very cool headed, it looks like if there is someone that can beat Rossi this year it's him.

Sete looked afraid of crashing, I think he was desperate to make it to the finish line and grab some points, Loris was better than him all the weekend.

Casey cooked his tires halfway, but even so it was a good performance. He was on pole and leading for a bunch of laps in just his 2nd MotoGP race.

Dani did a crap start, that costed him a chance for the podium, I guess being so little doesn't help when trying to keep the front wheel on the ground. But no excuses, he needs to improve his braking!!!

Melandri is xxxxxing ...... I never liked the guy since the 1999 125cc incident but today he could have catched Casey if he hadn't been busting Dani's balls when he knew he didn't have a chance to beat Dani because every lap Dani was getting to the finish line ahead of him. If he had let go Dani and tried to focus on his pace, he would've caught Casey in the end.

Elias was a let down too, he looked much better on FPs what happened?? I guess being sick didn't help, not very good.

Though not as bad as Colin, you know when your teammate beats you it's not good, when you teammate wins and you are ... NOWHERE it's scary.

Kawasaki was so dissapointing
<

When a journo caught Eckl telling their Bridgestone guy on Sat, we could just leave now since we don't have chance on the race it was clear it would be a BAD day today.
De Puniet didn't help much either.

Checa must be really down too, the preseason hope has turned into a sad reality, DUNLOPS SUCK.

Suzuki was ... embarrasing. It's not only a piece of junk, it's a totally unreliable piece of junk !!!
It was actually funny watching Hopper kick the Suzi, I don't blame him, though you know these Japs don't like to show their problems in public.

Tamada must be meditating on Hara-Kiri right now.

The D'antin boys I guess have acknowledged the fact that with crap tires, crap riders and unreliable engines there isn't much hope.

are you having a pms or something teo!!
<
you're right at some points, but you've GOT to admit that if you want to talk about let downs, the biggest let down is the fact that the race was at qatar, meaning: no audience, bad weather, big Sjeik al' fathj NOgwat flapping the big bugs etc

the race was good

sour grapes teo! he,s just pissed off cause all his boyz were suckin eggs!
<

How can it be a letdown, did you really expected to see the stands full? That's not going to happen anytime soon. And anyway I don't really care much about the spectators when I'm watching the race on the TV.

I wouldn't get tired of kicking that Hodgson, bloody Fogarty lovin' mummy's boy.

Hey Marbs, good to see ya back. And as usual the NH slagging posts keep rolling. Just kidding bud, glad to have you back.

Didn`t the Hodge suffer at the hands of Foggy being the mind game dominating, merciless prick he is when they shared a team? Dosen`t sound like much love there to me. Remember reading that at Superbikeplanet.com
