Qatar test

I hope Pedrosa's ok. Don't like to see anyone getting a bad injury. Besides, it'll be fun to watch Dovi beat him over the course of the year.
Stoner and Rossi - back to business. I'm presuming it's going to be a 2 man title fight again this year. I hope Stoner's wrist has come out ok.
Good to see the suzuki's up there. i hope they can improve over the year - not go backwards as per usual.
The other ducati's - I'm hoping Hayden or Kallio (or both) will master the beast. I think after 3 rounds or so we'll know the tale of the tape.
JT - I know you're injured, but you need to seriously do something if Edwards stays this quick. Although i'm betting Edwards doesn't.

the only slight thing that worries me about hayden is that he is very tall.... i personally beleive mastering the ducati to stop the pumping while cornering is about body possitioning.

stoner looks different to anyone i see riding the ducati he seems to get really far of the bike possitioned to the front very very low down... im just worried hayden maybe abit tall to get in the perfect possition.

anyway i hope he finds a good riding possition as i want to see him do well, its still early days he has got a new bike with different tyres that everyone has said they needed to change there style to suit the stones.

Early reports have him down for a fractured left wrist and a left leg injury.

I think you are right Doohan. Myself and I think everyone else here would be happy as hell if it was a two way title fight with a lot of two way battles such as Laguna through out the year. However if it comes down to whoever breaks away the lead after lap 1, then I guess its Sunday nap time again for me.

Returning to Casa Ducati, times seem to say that the GP9 can lead only Stoner, but the provision of Hayden stopped along the trail just minutes from the end to a technical problem was not so bad. Nicky is working hard to try to adapt the bike, will consult often with Casey and it seems not too interested in the lap of time; tispetto Malaysia has certainly taken a step forward, showing even greater serenity.

It 'pretty quiet even Marco Melandri, who finished the day in 14th place at two seconds from Stoner, improving steadily, however. The new ZX-RR is to be discovered and developed, resources are those that are, but both Mark and the team are facing this difficult situation with enthusiasm, knowing however that it will be difficult and tiring to be competitive.

dont worry to much yet bro... after reading about the state of weather conditions and the dirty sandy track i wouldnt use yesterday or todays times to make any judgement.

Maybe he'll only win by 20 seconds this year?

Edwards is on a mission.

It seems like the Suzuki is a decent machine so far. 2 bikes in the top 6. It was good to see Hayden running better and Melandri near the front for the time that he could be (before the big factory combos hit the track). He has a hard road ahead but he looks set to fight. It would be a disaster for Pedrosa to hurt himself at this time so I hope he is okay.

i just think its funny how pedrosa ran his mouth last year about Nicky not knowing how to set up a bike while he himself has not put in any solid test rides because he is always getting injured. I wont lose any sleep over Pedrosa's injurys i just hope he doesnt use it as an excuse when hes stuck in 6th place all year. edwards has sure been impresive though hopefully he can keep it up and finally get a win this year.

Ok, so shall we just have a MotoGP world series with these two riders just because you consider the rest to not be title contenders?? Yeah GREAT idea!

Who are you? Dorna?!

moto gp as a 2 rider series with rossi and stoner would be fine for me... hayden and his company can ride in support series for these two... that'd be fine for hayden's army too... no stoner and rossi - less shame for ex wc. and he'd probably be capable to win some gp... at least laguna or indy...
