Qatar test is go!

Aprilia have unvailed their RS-GP and new livery.

Do not mind at all. Like that the difference should be enough to tell them apart at 180mph.
 
Testing is starting pretty slow. Guess they are waiting on the sun to go down since Qatar is a night race.. I need cycles on the track!!!
 
What's interesting is they've gone with the small scoop on the sides of the tail. Or rather they are miniature sidepods with gills...seems like a more pronounced version of what Honda runs on the RCV to reduce exhaust heat underneath the electronics.
 
They need to replace the silver with white.

The riders are cool dudes.

He is reported to be uninjured, thankfully.
 
Ducati are also testing a single winglet verson on the D 16 GP

Iannone moves to the top with a 1m 57.004s lap while Scott Redding moves into 2nd. Marquez now 3rd as 0.134s covers the top 3.

The RCV has winglets as well.

I don't see them ever getting near the best lap record at all.

Fastest race lap might be possible, but probably not this year...maybe 2017 or 2018.
