I can't wait any longer

So I watched the full coverage of FP2 and it has been the first time I've had a chance to watch the youngins race in real time without the glamour of editing.

I must say I'm really starting to believe in Lorenzo. Not only is he fast but he has unbelievable bike control.

Yesterday, in FP2 he was getting sliding both wheels and not in the 990 sense of the word "slide" (bike relatively vertical) but in the 800 sense of the word slide (bike at 45 degrees or more).

I'm really starting to believe he has a chance to win this race if his tires hold together.

yeah lorenzo is going to be a future favorate for me, like you say he has amazing bike control he is also very fast and also consistant.

stoners still setting the pace....

dam hayden is hovering down the bottom of time sheets, i wish he could find something workable the guy puts in 110%

You know what's even more crazy.

Let's assume Lorenzo steals one from Stoner and Rossi in Qatar.

The next race is in Jerez--another Michelin/Yamaha track.

This kid Lorenzo has a serious shot at winning his first two grands prix.

I doubt he will win here but Jerez is a real possibiblity, no doubt.

do my eyes deceive me? Has Hayden started the session on the 2007 and Pedrosa on the 2008?
<

1. Lorenzo (has shown identical race pace to Stoner and was faster in qualifying)
2. Stoner
3. Edwards

I think Edwards will just edge out Toseland because of his experience with the yamaha... i wouldn't be too unhappy about that result.

Yes... as puzzling as it is... and he did better than Pedro on his 2007 bike in QP.
Is Nicky doing his best to prove Pedrosa right in rejecting the 2008 bike???

Its really sad that they work in opposite directions... they are suffering because of it.

Yes...Nicky is being made to ride on the old bike and Pedrobot is riding the Hayden developed bike...so when Pedrosa finishes the race outside the top 5 then he can reblame Nicky.

The Pneumatic engine which Dani rejected is not being used this weekend...and may not be used if Dani is dictating developement, and since Dani is riding the '08 bike this weekend...it is likely that PedroHobbit is leading development HRC future....

I don't want Dani dictating development... hes good at development for himself but surely his style and physique does not suit the majority of Honda riders.

The bike looks like a botch job ever since they signed him.

Dani rides with one of the most text-book gp styles on the grid. Nobody rides like Nicky and i think following his direction has been harmful to Honda in 07 and will be the same in 08.

They followed no one's direction at the end of 2006 and they are still following no one's direction, because no one is quick on their machines.

With the exception of DePunt, he seems to be relatively quick relatively consistently.

They need to give toseland the pneumatic engine as soon as possible. Colin went better than I expected. I suspect these were conditions for michelin so rossi will do better elsewhere, and pedosa will improve with more riding and further healing of his hand.
