rossi had just come out of the garage so i wouldnt expect him to be going quick especially when he was trying to get heat back into the tyres after coming out of the pitts,

and this thing about times it didnt look like he was trying very hard to me i think he is upto something.... wait till race day ive seen that smirk before

His hand really should be alright by now unless he damaged it yesterday. He was faster than all the satellite honda riders on the 2007 honda before his accident, and may have needed to use FP1 and FP2 to set the 2007 bike up, seeing it was apparently a last minute decision to go with it again.

I was being a little facetious as I don't think he is the favourite for pole, but he is some chance.

Well, I might be wrong but it looks to me as if Rossi take the inside line as the exit arrive. They have a healty peace of track outside of them when they crash and should be on the curb, and my guess is that Pedrosa had decieded to go on the inside of Rossi to pass him at the same time as Rossi decided to let him by on the outside (race line). Just another race incident and things that happen. Might have been avoided with some clear sign from Rossi but it looks like he was on pace until he decided to let the one behind by the easy way and kicking out your boot while knee scraping is not an easy thing to do.

I remember reading Stoner used Q tyres in last weeks test, but they barely improved his time.

QP had better have live video or I'm going to fly to Europe and throw a haymaker at the first dorna person I see.

$135 this year, and it ain't working.

It seems like Michelins have stepped up their game. At least for Qatar. Someone else said it - all of the bstone riders are faltering except stoner.

Doesn't look good for The Tax evasion man at the moment.
