It's dissapointing that the 125s and 250s go there, but to boycott a GP weekend? At Laguna Seca? Are you serious? I love the USGP. Sure there's no 125s and 250s, but that track is awsome, and it's MotoGP after all. What would you prefer, having the USGP without the small bores or not having the USGP at all?

I think jumkie's right Dorna really wants to get into the US market, and that means adapting to it. What works in Europe dosen't work in the rest of the world. In America, bigger is better. Even over here, two strokes are on their way to extincion. Then there's the patriotic factor to consider. Of the 50 odd riders in the smaller classes, not one hails from the 'states. From a marketing perspective it makes so much more sense to have an AMA round. It is a bummer that we miss out on the 125s and 250s for a round, but faced with that or the removal of the USGP from the callender, I know whaty I'd choose. Less racing is better than no racing.

Not true starting in 2007. I just read at BiasPlanet that KR is managing 16 year old Steve Bonsey who will race a KTM in the 125cc World Championship.

Really? He must be the first in a while?

Still, is it worth bringing them all over for a 125 rookie?

As was said before, they all go to Australia, why not the US? Then again, I'm just a nine to fiver that wants to see 125s and 250s, I'm biased.

But to suggest that it may not be worth comming to see it indicates to me you have never been there. Its a blast of a weekend everyday. I hope you can make it out sometime and I can have the priviledge to show you around. I think you would become a fan. Hell I even think you might even put Nicky Hayden and Laguna Seca as your favorites!

your right mate, i have never been to america let alone laguna, and im sure if i did i would end up a fan of the track (but nicky, dont push you luck mate)

i no 2 strokes are on the verge of extintion,i just hope you americans get to see them race before they do,it really is crazy when you see about 30 125's all after the same bit of track.

I just think that it is more of a time situation. When you have AMA: SUPERSPORT, FORMULA EXTREME, SUPERSTOCK, AND SBK along w/ MotoGp there is no time for 125s and 250s.

And if I am not mistaken we have our own 125 and 250 classes here.
