Peugeot has a bike in Moto3??? Really.. PEUGEOT???

Where is the other bike made? The Mahindra.

It's the same bike, just a bit of badge engineering like derbi and gilera used to do.

Yeah, but Peugeot doesn't even make a motorcycle, just scooters right?

Going to see a Schwinn bike next season...

Mahindra own a big chunk of Peugeot's bike business. I guess they do it for a bit of brand recognition

If you haven't already googled it, mahindra are Indian matey.

But the Moto3 bike is done in Italy.

Mahindra for those unfamiliar, is one of the three biggest multi-billion dollar companies in India and are famous for the building of all kinds of vehicles. Interestingly - most of the Piaggio line were built in Pune India until about 10 years ago. After the Italians found cheaper labor elsewhere - the factory continued to flourish under the Bajaj label and made scooters that were indentical to those from Piaggio - tho without all the fancy colors and shiny bling options.

Didn't realize the Moto3 bike was made in Italy.

I think they are. They were Suter/Engines Engineering/then something else?
But pretty certain their race effort is in northern Italy.

Judging by performances I don't think Peugeot have realised they make bikes either.
Been very poor and I was hoping to see John McPhee doing well this year. A good haul of points on Sunday but his best chances are going to come in these circumstances. It's kind of similar to how he got his podium at Indy.
