Oxley still spreading the blame

Had a rider put such a move on Mladin he would have been crying about it to high heaven. I read his take when it was published, I just laughed. I got to see him race often in the many years he was here, besides being a great talent, the one thing he was known for was complaining about everything and being the most ill-tempered person in the paddock. I can not think of any one rider who would have cried more had a rider put that Rossi move on him. Maybe with the exception of Foggy.

He doesn't see any big deal with Rossi's move? I saw Mladin get stuffed by Eric Bostrom who was riding a ZX7 to his GSXR1000, and Mladin couldn't stop whining and crying about it during the podium ceremony. Somewhere on a crashed computer drive I have personal video of people mockingly laughing in his face and telling him to get over it, me included. Mladin had less tolerance for hard moves on him than Rossi does, and that's saying something. That's why he couldn't stand Ben Spies. Because Ben had the audacity to challenge him on the track.

As an Aussie I will always try to defend our riders and talent ............... I make an exception for Mladin and that is from my personal experiences

Whilst the old saying goes 'opinions are like ........, we all have them', in Mladin's case it is one very large ....... indeed or to quote a mate of mine from within bike racing 'Mladin is proof that a full body ....... exists'

I'll have to remember that "full body .......".

Lol, hat's off!

I bow to no-one in my shallow patriotism as a sports fan, but I was going for Nicky Hayden when he won against Mladin which carried through to his Motogp championship, not because of any hatred of Rossi, at the time anyway.

I only got into racing in 2013 and even I know Mladin was an ....... of epic proportions. He's also from what I've gathered in an interview I saw with him he's a big Rossi fan.

Mladin was pretty gracious about that championship. Mladin can be an utter flog, but his openess (or whinging, if you like) was refreshing.

I'd much rather have an honest whiner than a fake showman.
Wait, mladin is from Oz right?

I think he was a talented rider who illustrated that even back then there was little point going premier class gp bike racing on a non-factory bike, but he is someone to whom Ben Spies, not in general given to aggressive statements and who is another rider I admired, apparently was wont to refer as "that ............" or words to that general effect.

I'm sure Rainey and Schwantz had equally juicy nicknames for each other.

Small point but he went went straight to a factory bike (albeit the crappest of them), got in over his head, got ...... about by Ago and slunk off to dominate AMA.
Only met him once, but he had shocking bleach blonde tips....so I will judge him on that

Yes, I knew he was on a Cagiva but considered it didn't count. Shorthand for a bike which was never going to be competitive, which admittedly satellite Hondas were to an extent.
