Oxley still spreading the blame

More stuff and nonsense from Oxley. Even if he considers MM and Rossi to be equally guilty which seems to have the status of established historical fact for Oxley (you and I obviously disagree, and can't see that he is guilty at all) how on earth does Jorge become one of the co-accused between the Sepang and Valencia pre-race press conferences?

Obviously because MM and JL had the Spanish consortium to steal the title. Where have you been.?

I see the point. And I agree, especially with press con stuff. what dorna did was obviously a mistake.

Of course how Dorna ran the press conferences was a mistake, but an unsurprising one in view of their historical indulgence of both Rossi and MM.

What we are disputing is Oxley's underlying assumptions concerning guilt in the whole brouhaha, and I in particular am questioning him including Jorge among the guilty given he did nothing in the last 3 races except go as fast as he could.

I liked the stuff about the 250 I agree and owning a 250GP bike is one of my dreams. The other stuff about the 3 school children fighting was ........ though.

The vast majority didn't do anything wrong, just the THREE guilty guys?

0+0+1=3?

Uhm....there was only ONE guilty guy, and Oxley is part of the problem because he refuses to identify the singular reason all this .... happened.

Thursday Sepang: Rossi goes full McCarthyist Yellow scare, Salem Witch hunt.

Is Marquez guilty or accused of being guilty? Accused only! No guilt proven.

Lorenzo: n/a

Sepang race: Rossi goes full torpedo mode; GUILTY.

Was Marquez guilty of something? News to me.

Lorenzo : n/a

------------------

Valencia race: Rossi goes full Area 51, Grass knoll. Guilty of accusation.

Is Marquez guilty of something I'm not aware of during the race?

Lorenzo: n/a

How the .... did Mat Oxley determine there are THREE people guilty of the end of season debacle?

They are truly amazing. But expensive to keep in tyres (my mate ...... a set of Dunlops in 3 laps playing with tyre pressure...) And piston supply is getting sketchy.
Best racebikes ....... Ever.
I'd buy an RSW250 just to lick

At the moment my track bike is an rgv so the plan is to get good on that and eventually step up to a real race bike. I'm sure they're getting harder to find though.

Import one from Japan. They are usually really well maintained and often have spares. If they are around. That's how I got my 125

Another fluff peice by Oxley in my opinion, tarring Marquez, let alone Lorenzo (who's only questionably guilty act was his thumbs down gesture in Sepang, which he subsequently apologised for) with the same brush as Rossi. We know his allegiance is to Rossi and all his articles should be taken thus.

It's funny how he is calling for all 3 riders to have been put into a press conference, but doesn't call out Rossi for his shcool boy antics in particular, behaving like a petulant child both on and off the track.

Really? Division 1 Superkarts use 250GP engines and I've heard nothing of any parts shortages. I never got to drive a Div 1, the closest I came was racing my Div 2. (Single cylinder 250).

Whenever I see the name Mat Oxley it always reminds me of an interview Kevin Schwantz did a few years ago...

You and Rainey battled together for years, but did you despise anyone in particular in the paddock?

You mean apart from Mat Oxley?

Rather randomly, someone called "Prophet" on Twitter has screen captured your post Jums and sent it to Matt Oxley.

Good spot #22.

That's a bit creepy. Obviously Prophet must be a member here. I wonder who that is. Anybody want to chime in?

Looks like Mat responded.

I agree up to a point. JL was involved. Rude gesture to VR on Sepang podium. Then tried to play part in CAS process

----

Well, Lorenzo already apologized for thumbs down (a reaction to a booing crowds, but still ok no excuse, I'm glad he took responsibility).

About CAS, it was his right (according to Kropo) as he had a stake. As much as VR had a right to appeal. So there is no guilt in exercising one's rights.

Edit: clicked on 'Prophet's' account. Looks like someone from Indonesia. So anybody want to come forward?

Of course Jorge had a stake, he was in a tight battle for the title and in all likelihood his competitor was 3 points to the good by taking another rider out, or arguably 16; I am happy to call it 3. Yamaha may have had cause for complaint depending on the terms of Jorge's contract, but I don't see that Dorna did.

As far as I am aware there was only 1 rider making intemperate remarks in press conferences, and that rider was and continues to be Valentino Rossi. I obviously haven't heard/read the Spanish press conferences, but I gather the gist was that MM disagreed that he was a liar and a cheat and was privately in tears that he could be accused of not trying hard enough in the PI race, understandably for me at least since he won the race.

I only really trust OEM Honda pistons. There are Wossner and other replacements but I've heard enough horror stories to stay away. When I run out of spares I'll look into alternatives. But I'm not surprised that OEM are getting $$$. 4 point or cold seizure in a kart is one thing, on a 125....yikes. Also, don't know enough about the state of tune of karts to be able to comment. I like to go close to standard as possible and get on with riding...so relieving pistons etc isn't my bag. Jet the thing and ride. Bloody GP bikes are high maintenance enough...
