Is it not simple?

Casey is No.1 until the end of the season.
Next year, he has the choice of 2 or 3 (whichever it may be), but no doubt will revert to 27.
Valentino will be No.46

Now then, it's my bedtime. What a dilemna! Shall I have hot chocolate, horlicks, or ovaltine?

I hope Stoner picks the number 2 just to .... with Peders.

Rossi is waaay too superstitious to use the no 1 plate. I don't think he ever would, unless maybe he knew for sure it was going to be his last season.

Every year #1 can be used by the winner of the previous (in this case 2007) season, and that has not changed--Casey Stoner was 2007 champion. So he can complete the current (2008) season sporting the #1 plate he well deserved

Surely Vale will not use #1, he never didi and he's way too superstitious to change his lucky number (which by the way, as rightly said, is already a TM for him...)

love him or loath him stoner earned the right to have the #1 plate for a whole season. rossi is not the champ until next season. stoner is still the champion until then.

I never was a fan of riders taking the number 1 plate, their results and how they won the championship is more important.

Also i feel they could make more revenue by not changing their number.
