Nicky Hayden running out of fuel

Nicky earned his title in 06....If any of you remember, I actually posted the finishes for the year for Rossi and Hayden......I did pretty much a complete year analysis betweent he two.

That may well be, but the nickname 'Crusin' Caretaker' didn't come from nowhere!

I was at the last race of the season in Valencia once he knew Rossi had come off and all he had to do was finish, he sat in about 7/8th place,if he was a good champion he would of gone for a podium finish. So I don't think he earned his title.

Perhaps you were thinking of James Toesland, last year, when the WSBK title came down to the final race. Haga came 1st, and Toesland finished 6th, finishing the year out 2 points ahead of Haga.
