Nicky Hayden confirms Honda split

Screw Honda. I will never have another honda unless they release the New American Sports model. That is never going to happen and I think someone will have one similar to it in time. I am so sick of the companies throwing out comments like the riders don't matter. WEll now that Rossi went and proved them wrong I hope Nicky is able to capitalize like a mofo with Ducati. I for one will be ecstatic if Hayden can do it with Ducati. Good for you Nicky to finally stand up for yourself. GOD knows pedrosa will never do that and more than likely can't since his boyfriend does all the talkin for him.

I understand why HRC let him go but how could they have let it get so bad with an honest hardworking and extremely loyal rider.
It didn't have to end with this much animosity.
Dovi seems like a good kid so if he gets the Repsol gig than I wish him luck.
He's a rising talent but I wonder if he is never able to compete with Pedro will they treat him unequally as well.

Reporting from Indy:

Answer: Dani Pedrosa, Alberto Puig, Repsol, Carmelo, Dorna, talking and HRC believing the bulllshit. If karma is real, HRC-Peders will never win a a title that means something.

glad its happened, wonder where honda's Allegiance will lie if dani/puig get beat next year by dovi etc.hmm
"Mr Honda why u not winning dani this is the best bike ever if you not winning it must be your fault"

i still like what ryder said earlier this year its taken the repsol team 4-1/2 yrs to win the same amount of races Rossi won in 2004.think it proves no matter who they had in the team what direction are they going in
"Circles i say"

It's ........ how Pedrosa rides with Bridgestone and Hayden doesn't.

They might as well call HRC, PRC. Pedrosa Racing Corporation.

I hope Nicky writes a tell all book about his relationship with HRC. I'd be dying to read it.

Nicky, I don't care what you have to do this weekend, just finish in front of Pedrosa!!!!

They're not about to help a rider who's leaving them to join a team that runs 'stones get a head start on them. It's not like Nicky and Dani have been sharing data anyway.

Nicky's a hard working rider, and he's comfortable with a bike that moves around. Hopefully these characteristics will serve him well on the Duc. Getting used to the 'stones and the electronics will be the biggest challenges, I suppose. I believe he'll put in the time needed to become competitive on the machine. We'll see!

As for HRC, well, their recent record speaks for itself. Best of luck, Dovi!

Good luck Nicky, you will do better on the Ducati.
But we all thought Marco would too.
It's make or break time next year.

Or is that Puig Racing Corporation?

I don't see how this affects Nicky, hes always been big behind Michelin and his mind is firmly on next year.

What i'm pissed about is the unprofessional way Puig and Dani did it.

The issue here is the matter of perception. There's an obvious competitive advantage with Bridgestone, and yet Nicky switching is out of the question. HRC may as well say Nicky being as competitive as Pedrosa is out of the question. That certainly reinforces the message they've sent since the beginning of '07.

HRC may think that since Nicky's gone anyway, it doesn't matter. But what the ...., are they worried about pissing Michelin off? Why not give both riders the benefit of better rubber? In for a penny, in for a pound, right? HRC sucks.

Hubris and spitefulness. Ask Rossi - HRC sucks.
