nick around the outside!

Nice marketing move if they let him open it up on the straight.

How pissed must Hopper be that Nicky gets all the publicity when it comes to the home rounds.

They should let both of them go. Hoppers vertical wheelies would be a crowd pleaser

Great for Nicky. Good marketing.

Johnny, of course Nicky get first dibbs, he's a champ, but I agree, they should bring Hopper and Edwards to the commercial. Yes, thos 11 O'clockers would please.

I'll be seeing the Indy 500 now that they are throwing motorcycle racing some props.

i wonder if nick will really do some screamin laps? how fast & dangerous for a gp bike round the banked turns!

All he has to do is launch that thing out turn 4 and down the strait at full chat. With all those metal grandstands and roofing BWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH. It will no doubt bring some people back that may not have ever thought about attending a Motot GP. And you right they should do it up big and let both Hopper and Hayden run tandem down the strait. There would be a bunch of fat ..., American, couch potato race fans sport'n wood.

Most racing people who attend the 500 have no clue what MotoGP, or give a fk about what it is. Many this year are getting free tickets with packs of Marlboro's. Only reason most will attend is that they got the race in their ticket package.

Does that race sell out?

500? Yes, but no. The exact number of seat at the track is unknown, so they sell and sell. The 500 will get for the race, about 250 thousand. Some say 400 thousand, some even more, but realistically, it is about 250 thousand.

If you want attendance number for MotoGP though, look at the F1 USGP attendance. That was about 60-70 thousand. But I expect less for MotoGP.

As an attendant for the race, sitting on the front stretch by the Start/Finish Line is probably the worse seat in MotoGP. You only see the straight. The final corner (turn on for the F1 course) and the chicane section are probably the best seats. Maybe the infield (never got to sit there as those sold quick for F1).

Hopper has to do Something first...at least Nicky was world Champ and Colin was a WSBK champ.

So while they should all be included Hopkins needs to do something to be noticed...he is consistantly an Also ran guy.
