he entertains me, we need characters in the world like him. Sponsor friendly head-nodders get old.
I salute him, I'm a bit of an ....... myself and I can only give props! lol
You gotta hand it to Foggy, he was so successful on the diesels in the 90's but has managed to have most people thinking he is a ..... Could he have beaten Doohan? well Koscinski kicked his arse on the Honda that Foggy said was crap and went running back to Ducati with his tail between his legs.
The guy could ride a superbike, no question, but his GP runs werent so special. In the 93 British GP he ran well after Doohan, Schwantz etc had crashed but when Capirossi passed him, he had "brake trouble" and when Niall Mackenzie passed hin, he "ran out of petrol" Funny but even his team boss asked how he managed the slowing down lap after that!
There is no disputing the guy could ride, unfortunately, he could also talk, and that why he put folk off. The way he raised the profile of Superbikes here in the UK was amazing though, most brit bike fans had no interest in Motogp then, because MCN focused so much on Supers.
The bike press over here made such a thing of it that Brits all wanted to do Supers instead of GP. Shame, at that time we had MacKenzie and McWilliams out there doin great business on basically crap bikes.

OOPs! it wasnt Capirossi, it was Luca Cadalora!
