Just confirmed. He took Jake the Snake's spot.

Sucks for Jake
Great Guy, One of the friendliest in the paddock. Agreed he's not top talent hate to see him go. That's probabaly the last really good ride he'll ever get.
I think Honda is just giving Miguel one more year to get that Elusive all time Daytona 200 win even though Jake gave them one in 2006.
This generation CBR 1000 is at it's end so Miguel and Neil will get all new machinery for next year so hopefully Neil will whine a lot less than he did when on the Ducati

Here ya go: http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2007/Sep/070906a.htm

It doesn't say that Zemke is gone, but it might as well. It only says that Hodgson will be Miguel's teammate. No mention of a possible third bike.

So where does Zemke go next? Tommy Hayden has another year on his Yoshimura contract. Hmm, maybe Corona Honda will field another bike? Maybe Jordan will drop Jake Holden and go after another factory leftover?

Good to see Neil racing again....my only question is who is the number 1 rider for Factory Honda AMA team...Neil or Miguel?

And unless Honda put huge money and development into the team they will not be the Yosh duo....which means another boring as hell year in the AMA, in my view

The new CBR1000RR is supposed to be a leap forward. The way they are shrouding it in secrecy,it had better or they will look silly.I think the Suzuki is a little better than the other bikes but the big difference is the riders.Mladin and Spies are just light years ahead of the other guys.Look at Tommy Hayden,he is on a Yoshimura Suzuki and isnt even sniffing podiums

I am not sure Mladin would do as well on any bike other than the Yosh Suzuki.

And as for T.Hayden not getting on with the Yosh Suzuki, well you can't expect all the Hayden to have talent....that would be like saying all the Roberts will world champion and we know that is not true.

i've often wondered about this... are they really that much better than the rest? or is it that the yosh bike is that much better? same ole story i know not wanting to take credit from the riders but the yosh team are a full blow suzuki factory bike. plus they've been know to skirt the rules abit in the past. american honda are trying to do a ten kate with no hrc backing of any signifigance. doin a poor job imo. the kawasaki & yamaha sbk program i'm not sure. full factory & just abit behind?

You dont win back to back Supersport titles with no talent. Its by far the most hotly contested series year to year. And probably the most cherished for the manufacturer since that is truly a win on Sunday, sell on Monday series.
