It's fine for riding like in your aviator pic if your bike has heaps of ground clearance.

The fakes are the one's who are not cool. But in today's world, that is all of them, as the Hell's Angels and the other bike gangs are gone.
 
see I don't like Harley much either but, this is my best mate 'Weeman'.........

he's cruising around Utah on a Harley. After he sent me that photo I started to put money away because i'm going to do exactly the same. i'm going to fly over to canada - pick up a harley, head west til I see the sea and then I'm going to head south til I get to Mexico.

Harleys aren't really my thing but it's the experience I'm after. I've gotta a moto sitting at home (well I will have soon anyway

) if I wanna go tearing up the roads.

I wanna cruise - I wanna soak up what I see & I want to take my time - I don't want to shave - I'm not going to wear my leathers - I'm going to wear jeans and a scruffy Tee shirt and shades and no helmet.

So there you go.

That would be a great adventure/experience but I would choose something like a GS instead
