mugello predictions

I'm hoping Rossi comes out on top of course...but I dont think its gonna be as easy as it was the previous years. I'd also like to see capirossi and dovi place within the top five. As for hayden, hopefully he'll improve this race.

With no rider dnfs or wet weather etc. I think Hayden is capable for about 10th position at the moment.

I just hope that Kallio has a clean race this time.

Top will obviously be the usual Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa (in some order) unless the track conditions are surprising once again.
 
Well this being Italy I expect an extra effort from the local guys (even the spineless ones like Dovi).

So I think Capi, Dovi and Melandri might mix it up with the top 4 title contenders. That said, considering Rossi has won here for 6 years in a row, that is the whole MotoGP era and this year his bike is a good if not better than any it would be wise to bet on him.
The day Rossi doesn't win in Mugello with a good bike, he's no longer the best for sure.

I think that Stoner needs to take a bite out of the championship now and the all conquering Fiat Yamaha Team. This is the place to do it, Ducati has tested here (a lot) and it is unconquered territory for them, they will turn it around and start the assault on the championship after the run of tracks they don’t go so well on.
