ok guys my prediction will be:

1. stoner
2. rossi
3. weedobot
4. lorenzo
5. capirossi / dovi

1.rossi
2.stoner
3.lorenzo
4.pedrosa
5.either deangelis or melandri, i'm undecided yet

off topic for a min, anyone know who's replacing Gibernau yet? Has it been anounced yet?

like somebody here says...
my heart say
1 Rossi
2 Stoner
3 Pedrosa

my head say
1 Stoner/Pedrosa
2 Pedrosa/Stoner
3 Rossi/Lorenzo

i think that cheap rossi imitator(lorenzo) is putting some pressure on the doctor, and i hate to say but i think is getting to him
<

edit: BUT i hope vale fulminates them all

Im thinking

Rossi = he knows how hard people will want to take this track from him.
Lorenzo = not far behind
Stoner = to battle with peders
peders = battle with stoner
........5th I like to see
Melandri = just as enjoy watching him achieve

1. Rossi
2. Rossi
3. Rossi

This is Mugello afterall.

But seriously more like:

1. Rossi
2. Stoner
3. Lorenzo
4. Pedrosa
5. Dovi

Before making predictions one has to understand why this is Rossi's track...

After they 'transmogrified' Assen, this is the last old style European track, all rhythm and speed. No turnpins here, the slowest corner is 100 Kmh. A lot of 'blind' corners, you have to memorize the entry of those and trust your memory.

The first blind corner is #1 right after the start... Here one also climbs fast (Arrabbiata 1 and 2) and goes downhill at monster speeds. The Casanova-Savelli is my favorite place.

Phillips Island is a little like that. Fact is, the faster it goes, the more the good riders shine. Everybody can go nicely around a corner at 80-100 Kmh. When it becomes 180, or 200, the natural selection begins

So it will be Rossi, Stoner. Stoner will try very hard to beat Rossi, I think he has a chance.
Pedrosa could also be there but it has to be seen whether Honda will have tyre problems here or not. There will be no soft compunds at all.

Lorenzo is un unknown factor. Last year he crashed. It will be the test of maturity for him--if he passes the Mugello test, making a podium, then he must be reckoned with as a real force.

<

Rossi for the win, Stoner, Pedrosa and Lorenzo to crash. Equilibrium.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>After finishing last for the first time in his premier class career at Le Mans a fortnight ago, however, the Gran Premio d’Italia Alice can’t come soon enough for Rossi.

On three occasions (2004, 2006 and 2007) he [Rossi] has bounced back from non-podium finishes in Le Mans with victories at Mugello the following round.

Rossi
Stoner
Dovizioso

Canepa should do well too...not sure about a podium, but he sure has clocked many hours at Mugello...and knows is very very well...so...i will venture to say he will break the top 5...

I will be there at the poggio secco section of the track along with the tribu' dei chiwawa. Its gonna be lots of fun with those crazy guys.

WHO ??

Hard compound front and rear tyres are reportedly available which should advantage rossi and stoner, if rossi needs any advantage at mugello.

I hope your right, i love to root for the under dog, remember when randy and ginters over took rossi at le mans and melandri last race was a real under dod to cheer for
<
but this normally only happens if its wet or changeable conditions that make every other riders plans and set ups useless. I hope its a dry race tho, wet at mugello would be boring.
