OK so Vale's contribution there is just the notes on the drawing. The article itself is NOT his description of it but someone's interpretation of Vale's doodles.

wet tomorrow but less so than today, raceday is supposed to be dry but cloudy...seems like its all unknown as per usual..

Vermeulen on top. Rossi clearly has work to do in wet.

On a wet track michelin seem to have upper hand and on a drying one the Stones have.

Rossi flying to 4th place. Verm still on top. Bridgsetone has the advantages now.

Pretty interesting session. Rossi pulled a quick lap at the very end but wasn't anywhere on the pace for the rest of the session.
JT was quick all session. Nice 1. CV - quick as expected in the wet. Same for Stoner.
Nice for Hayden to be up there as well towards the end of the session.
Melandri - it's the sad story that's just getting worse. And the Alice team? WTF is it?
Taddy Okada good to give me a laugh you gumby. Is he getting his retirement GP?
I can't believe how Lorenzo was in the wet - how's the TC working for you?

the blue helmet indicates that time is the rider's personal best for the session. red helmet indicates best time out of all riders.

Such a shame for Melandri, just when I think it can't get any worse for him it does.

i watched the 2nd practice on eurosport, it was very clear that certain riders were pushing hard whilst others were just skating around, therefore i would not read into the times too much-it didnt look like pedrobot or Rossi were pushing very hard and dint really put together many aggressive laps, toseland on the other hand was in full attack mode and probably would have come out on top if he had continued throughout the session. and the half fish half human of veumulen is always good in wet.
its a dry race predicted for sunday-one point was melandri actually slower than the 250's-he really needs to get away from Ducati its just not going to work for him.
