Mugello after race

It was obvious there would be no Rossi's celebration on the track - if he had even attempted it I bet the bike would never have made it back to parc-ferme and the bike may ended up in the ebay!!. Look at this picture when even "The cold" Pedrosa had to wave (very rare to see) to Rossi's (not his) fans (!!!). Maybe he was afraid that if he stays "cold" than his bike would be ended in the garbage can !. What a Mugello "riot", while Vale even have to ride across the grass to avoid fans and he gave us the quickest slowing down lap ever...?

Its a shame that a load of over-excited people spoil it for themselfes and others who would love to see a memorable lap of honour. It's also dangerous and seems pretty foolish to me.

Nah it was pretty dangerous, you could even see a few riders getting pissed off about it. I'm all for an invasion after the race, but this was when people were still racing.

Remember Jerez '96?

It happened at Donny last year too, and quite frankly i'd prefer to stand behind the fence and see a decent cool down lap/celebration rather than piss off all the riders and organizers doing something dangerous just to stand a little closer to someone famous and do nothing. Its the kind of behaviour you'd expect from teenage girls at a boyband gig

I take it you're speaking from experience

Yep, the same happened here, but I guess the leaders weren't affected this time, or any others, but it's still a bad sight. I could swear Rossi kept on looking back and throwing his hand up in the air, and not in the celebratory fashion.

The first gig i went to was Wu-Tang, not really the same scene. However i was a fan of Five, still have two albums of theirs!!

Donny 04.

People did it when the race was all done and the riders were near the end.

Sour grapes about what exactly? It's not like the track invaders have something unavailable to me

Donny last year was stupid. People were coming onto the start/finish straight before some riders had finished. I remember Elias had to back off as there were people on both sides of the tarmac.
