MotoGP Catalunya: Casey Stoner to demo RCV road bike

You surely remember Marquez' comment at the Austin press conference, when asked what he thought about Honda rejecting Stoner's offer to replace Pedrosa.
He pretended that he didn't know about it and that he just heard the news from one of his mechanics... and of course that he respected "Honda's decision".
I still wonder who could possibly believe that, but maybe I've just found one.
I'm the one who mentioned this numbnutz. In fact within the context of saying this kinda .... got me banned from marcmatters.

Hold on a second there Jumkie.

Are you telling us pointing out that MM was being disingenous got you 86'd from Kropaganda on the Mount?

I don't think our Euro brethren know what "86'd" means, but great use of it. I suppose they can figure it out based on context. And yeah I know, I should have been smarter, it wasn't like it was hardly predictable.

I mentioned that Marc looked confused about the new Dorna rules (back when they changed them, again) and added. For the reining champ and supposed voice of the sport, u would think he'd at least read the rulebook. In Marc's defense though, who can keep up with the moving goal post. Kropo didn't take kindly to my comment.

No wonder Kropo seems to post less here...

Then again I probably wouldn't if I actually had to talk to people on a level playing field, and had to actually defend my penchant for talking out of my ....

I heard Lexy was back and had to see it for myself. Theories on Bridgestone working with one particular factory, I feel like it's 2008 again and it's wonderful.

Makes a change from your fixation with 2001 Dunlops I guess...

Well, I'll admit, that a beautiful livery. Though I suspect Austin is more concerned with what's under the leathers.

I remember talking to Pascal Picotte in 2001—I think it was 2001, but memories are fuzzy—and asking him about the Michelins that Ducati Austin decided to run with after having heard Ben Bostrom talk about how he couldn't get them to work. Pitcotte then intimated that BB was a whiney ......

I laughed, only because I didn't want him to see me cry.

How many times do I have to tell you? It's the leathers that I'm most interested in?

Tough to tell if those are Vance & Hines leathers of 1999 or the Infostrada leathers of 2000. If it's the latter, they were Dainese, so they never would've been on my wall.

Surfers Paradise...no, wait I should rephrase that. (Is that a stolen pension book in Goey's right hand?).

Hey, how did you get banned from Kropganistan?

For voicing my opinion which was not accepted in the group - think echo chamber N.Kor/Chinese 1984 information scrubbing censorship Krapot has installed. Do u remember when Dorna instituted a "Factory 2" category? Well at one of those pre-event press conferences, Marquez was asked about it and he looked like someone just asked him to explain Quantum Theory. So I said, you'd think the reining champ and voice of the sport would at least read the rule book. And I added, but maybe he doesn't since Carmelo will bend the rules for him if needed. Well I think that took poor Kropaganda over the edge. Banned me. I emailed him asking for explanation, his response was polite, but basically saying he is the Kim Dong Ill of Marcmatters.
Then you mention things without understanding them, uh?
I don't need to stick my head up the steer's ... to know if it's a good steak.

Shame, especially since what you said is true.

It's a screwed up situation. Dorna wrote the rookie rule to win IRTA support. Ezpeleta merely reversed the damage he was doing. Krop also relies on good-standing with Dorna for paddock access in some instances. Journalistic integrity is almost dead, but, until Krop goes full-blown native advertising, we should probably give him the benefit of the doubt.

Anyway, this is the miracle of terrible business models, and it's why I harp on Dorna and the MSMA for their ceaseless blunders. Everyone who invests time and energy in GP is rewarded with everything a Banana Republic has to offer.

If your into nostalgia you would live Bens 2011 Leathers that he wore at Laguna Seca. They were used for the first ever MotoGp rolling pace bike and are like new quality. They have never been creased, scuffed, or shat in. In fact they almost certainly have never been sweat in either.
