Really disappointed that things have ended for Scott in this way. It was an interesting race with Luthi challenging, but if it had been Redding vs Espargaro ....

Pol did everything he needed to, and Rabat blew his chances, but it didn't feel like a proper race at all. Dunlop's Moto2 tyres have been terrible all year, really.
I hope Redding at least flies to Japan, and goes through the motions of trying to ride (even if it's impossible). Now that the title is Espargaro's to lose, his presence might put a little pressure on Pol. Any unpredictable weather and the often incident-packed turn 1 at the start of races at Motegi, means that its not over until its over. There is another typhoon heading for the east coast of Japan this week (a big one went through last week), but it might have blown through by race day.

When I typed that second post, we'd just seen the ambulance arrive. Now I've seen the crash...it was ugly.
Poor Scott. But Asparagus is pretty hot at PI.
Worst is...full points for a crappy short race. Dunlop should be ashamed.

In other news, unsurprisingly Redding will have a crack at riding this weekend. Passed his fitness test.

That picture is not real. He's cheating, Spanish, or paying RD to look the other way. Those are the reasons there are so many Spaniards in GP. Lots of fat cats having their pockets lined.
Or, PEs is another product of the best feeder series, CEV. He has competed against the best, MM, and has learned a lot from him. Quite obvious by his cornering style. Just needs to work on his head and quit crying and it should be a good show next year when he's on a GP. If Yamaha was smart, they should can their second factory rider and give a chance to the rookie. Now that the rookies rule has been done away with........
Top 4 would then be Spanish. Jum's head would blow up from all the favoritism and we would all live happily ever after!! :winkiss:

He is a tough lad thats for sure. I've still not given up hope that he can still win the WC.

Counting chickens is bad karma, and proved so for someone as great as Valentino, even despite him waiting for his chickens to hatch before counting them.
