I agree, this is Japan and the locals probably have home-court familiarity, jus as Vermuelen did at Phillips Island. However, Capirossi won here last year with a 16 second gap over Tamada. But then there's always the Doctor, and when the Doctor sets his mind to it, there's no stopping him.

So, without further ado, here are my predictions:

1. Capirossi
2. Rossi
2. Nakano

I´m gonna go with Rossi, Gibernau and Melandri, in no particular order.

but heart says Hayden, Pedrosa and Rossi just for a cool end of season

sete hasn't had good results here(his own admission)marco is game everywhere(in my book...2 on the bounce, maybe)vale hates it,but hasn't won yamaha's home gp(he's 21 behind, still a climb)...since 2001.dani was reported to be 90% fit in auz despite poor showing(don't count him out)loris is magnificent at a 'bridgestone circuit'.....hopper needs a podium or a strong result before we go back to europe...if chris can do it then john has to go too(people talk about hayden underachieving, john never gets mentioned check out his stats in 4yrs).Japanese riders(hope for shinya)............but i think hayden needs to bounce back here,he''s testing the 800 the following morning it'd be great to ride it after a win just to bolster him............SO as you can see i'm struggling to pick a winner...

THERE HAS BEEN A DIFFERENT WINNER HERE FOR SOMETIME,CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG...wish edwards could win a race he's in the doldrums!!!

according to the news...we might see a wet race at Motegi..

guess we'll see Dani get lapped again...

Are you kidding?!!

Tamada couldn't get on the podium if he was the only one racing.
