MOTEGI GP 2011: RACE

For the record, contact was made sideways. Looked like Lorenzo's rear stepping out into Rossi's front. Rossi was not behind, he was to the right.

Rossi had been beat to that corner, he didn't concede, as he should have, ran into the back of Lorenzo. that lack of conceding cost Spies a good race. FACT.

^^^^^ Jumkie are you watching this ^^^^^^

We are being treated to a first hand example of how absolute ........ and lies gets turned into a bopper myth

Rossi was going on the outside and so was Spies. Noting special in that in Second corner of the race. Watch the reply.

I'm out of it ........ you can follow it through with these clowns but its just so idiotic a debate its not even worthwhile.

FACT is Lorenzo did us all a favour, by savingthe rest of the field from Risky Rossi.

Just watched it about 20 times. Clearly Lorenzo was ahead. Happens all the time in first corner shuffles. The guy who gets beat usually does the right thing and rolls off conceding the tight space, and usually continues to ride outside when space allows. Ross knew he had Yamahas on both sides, and still didn't concede. The only space available is behind, period. Racing incident, yes, but if you're gonna blame somebody, the only guy on this one is Rossi.

Just watched it a few times. Still a racing incident, but maybe Rossi should have backed it off some....

Hey Jum, what about that Stoner's dirty risky pass on Hayden? The guy has no class whatsoever, ha?

So maybe it was Spies pushing himself in and preventing Rossi from going wider? Why does Rossi need to concede and not Speis if you just admited that he was on the outside of Rossi in the same ciscumstances?

Wtf are you talking about, I haven't decided yet about which one of you is right. I will watch it later and decide for myself. my first post i named it a .... up by Rossi. but anyway it was and looked to me a race incident.

Watch again and focus on Rossi's leg, this is a great reference point. Watch the leg disappear behind Lorenzo. That means Lorenzo has the line and Rossi must concede.

Anyway, as I said, first turns incident. So yeah, racing incident. Stuff like this will happen. They are all wanting the same space.

Sucks for Rossi too though, because the Ducati was looking good during warm-up. What might have been.

Because Rossi could no longer hold his line. Which he did, and that caused him to make contact with Lorenzo. Spies was just an innocent bystander. Rossi rolls off a bit, and they all make it through the corner. Then Rossi can think of passing safely all race long.

Damn you! I said I wouldn't argue the point much, as there isn't that much to argue. (Made worse by the ...... camera work).

Its now 1:30 AM, enough fun and games. My final answer is garden variety racing incident.
