Definitely De Puniet is impressive on uncompetitive bikes, particularly in qualifying. I'd like to see him get a quality factory ride, he is a pretty good rider and on the way up.

Vermeulen is also a top rider on the rise. He has done very well on the Suzuki and has what it takes to win. Honda or Yamaha should seriously consider him for a factory ride in the near future, for sure he is another high quality Australian rider with the ability and drive to go all the way.

Under rated by me, I must say Stoner. I don´t think the guy is that good, yet he´s been proving me wrong for a year (+ one race).

Under rated by the general comments on the forum, I´d say Elias. Mightly unconsistent, yet capable of beating ANYONE on a given day. Maybe a factory ride will give him the consistency he needs? I think so.

I think Elias is too far out on the edge on "a given day" and in general. He try to hard to be fast enough while his comfort zone is well below the fastest riders. But anyway, that's just what I think

Being the best when all the circumstances are perfect is not hugely significant (Laconi, Bayliss, McCoy can all do it), the riders who are at the front regardless of circumstances are the ones worth rating.

Wouldn't happen to be because he's Spanish is it?
