i vote for Randy De-puniet.

Yeah he had a few crashes last season, when your riding for your career, u tend to push a bit harder than what the bike and you can do. on things for sure it this guy is blistering fast.

look at his times on the LCR compared to the factory honda guys. puts them to shame.

I think if RDP gets a decent ride on a decent team, he may acheive great things like stoner has.

i agree, Randy D. the flying French man is it. he keeps this up he will be top 5 at the end of the season.

If RDP can keep doing what he has been doing throughout testing, he could have a pretty decent season.

This dudes my most under rated rider

I'd say Hayden. Randy is an excellent candidate but it is very easy to argue either way with a rider who has or is showing potential. Nicky has achieved the ultimate prize in motorcycle racing and is spoken of as if he has always been average.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ogunski @ Mar 3 2008, 08:35 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Nicky Hayden. This guy has a world championship and he still gets ZERO respect.

Hayden gets a fair bit of respect ..... its just that he made himself enemy No.1 of the yellow army in 2006 ....... which in itself is somewhat of a mark of respect really
<
, although annoying to those who truly appreciate his efforts. But Hayden is not underated by many many also.

I'd go with Pinky on the Randy DP bit ..... mainly because he seems to be up near the top at most of the winter tests. Maybe the bike change will suit him.

I'd agree with RDP as about the only pick. For me the older guys have been around long enough to prove themselves e.g. Nakano, Capirossi.

I'd go with nicky hayden too.

I like RDP and would like to see him do well, but he is performing well in trials/practice, and he has always been good at that. I want to see some race day form. I still would have kept him ahead of west if I were kawasaki though.
