Anyways....

Jumkie, what you said about Larry Miller is true. With his son running things I'm afraid his venues, which are many, will go down the drain. That guy was a goof but he knew how to run things. Oh well, WSBK will be in Utah in just a few months! Woo hoo!

Soon motorcycle racing (WSBK) will be nearly year round leaving plenty of time for many tracks. MotoGP will be a distant memory.

I have not drawn any conclusuions yet. I asked you a question giving you the chance to defend yourself by putting that comment into context. We all like a laugh and we all go off on one now and again. spa is one of the best european tracks! motogp (well, and sbk) must go there! the bikes would be at more than 200kmh at eau rouge! oh i only wish.. monza and istanbul would be fine too, since they both are close to me!

No I have not. I have a few friends that have and presently are in the conflict. If that isn't good enough then I don't know what would be.

I have no beef really . I just said some things that started a fire here. I am in no way a biggot and a hater of people. WHen I get called that it is bad and I don't take it lightly.

the problem with second hand reports (from friends, family or media) are that they tend to be sensationalised to some degree. it is in my experience that things are rarely as bad as reported on the news. i know because i am from a "POS" country and have first hand experience. i am not saying Mexico is a bed of roses, because it obviously is not but its not as bad as you are led to believe either. there will also be good areas and bad ones, just like every other country on earth.

Agreed but these dudes are in the thick of it and it is no picnic. I would love to go to mexico but now is not the time. SO with what is going on there are some ...... things happening. Plus when you have the rich people living with armed gaurds and the poor right outside their homes that is ...... as well. I have been outside the US and have seen this very thing first hand. It pisses me off that it is allowed to happen where the opression is that bad. To me there are real issues that no one seem to want to realize. I feel for those and can't blame them for wanting to be here at the moment. But it has to stop and if it doesn't it will get worse. WHen I say POS country I am NOT talking about the people rather than the policies being dictated by those who oppress the ones who so badly want to just live rather than be in fear of life. THat to me constitutes what I am saying. Plus it is at the moment. THings can change but you can't fear the words I say rather than embrace the issues and talk about them. SO if you take what I say with a bit of reality things are not roses there by any means but again you never know who or what will change them. So here again I am sure my words will be twisted to make someone sound like they know me or what my beliefs are. Just know that I really don't hate people just the actions that make themselves abhorant to the rest of the population who might enjoy say a MOTO GP race.
