Sete is nowhere near Biaggi. Max was such an ........ Sete is a great guy and he is a rider with huge talent and same huge bad luck.

At the hospital Gibernau kept asking how loris felt. As Juan Martínez, says, leader of mechanics of Spanish, what was worrieng Sete the most after the accident was to know the state of the Italian. "How is Loris?", he asked me Sete”, relates Martínez, “and to the 30 seconds he asked me again: How is Loris?”.

Seems that neither Sete or Melandri remember the crash, only Loris does. He said: "I have not slept but I am well. I have seen it and remember everything: Sete he slipped in a little, touched me with his knee in my handlebar, the motorbike was turned, I touched Melandri and the cannon took place"

First off I agree Biaggi was an ashole at times but comon guys and gals I am sick of hearing about it...if you had had the life he had how would you have turned out? (Think about this as you sip on your imported tea in your house with all the bills payed) ((do some history before judging)) I am not saying he was right for how he has acted in the past, but maybe if I was in his postion in life after that childhood I might just be an ....... to people like Vale and his supporters for example. I race and we have one thing that we believe in that is what happens at the track stays at the track. Adrenaline is a powerfull drug, some cope some don't if you don't you end up without a ride. He has got his punishment I believe. Oh Ya and Sete he is alright needs a break though!!

What a champ. Somthing told me when Gibernau went to Ducati him and Loris would make great teammates.

Maybe this crash will be a saving grace for Sete. I`m really paranoid he`s gonna get axed by Ducati for underperforming at the end of the year before he gets a chance to adapt. Maybe this injury can be used as an excuse. Hopefully he`ll get another chance with the Ducati 800

good team mates makes a lot of difference ... apparently Hopper and Vermuelen get on pretty well too

I don't know Richo....I have a funny feeling Sete may be out at the end of this year....either by his choice or Ducati....I hate to say it....great rider, but I feel like people in general are thinking he's losing his edge.....just my take on it.....

True. The LCR guys get along pretty well, too. I mean, Casey idolises Stoner

Could be. But the Duc isn`t the easiest bike to ride, I think he just needs time to get used to it, and the properties of Bridgestone tyres so he can use them as well as his teammate does. Maybe I`ve just got blind faith in him. Like I said, I`m worried that Ducati won`t give him a 2nd chance. They`re a very..... efficient team. They showed no mercy to Checa, even when he rode his ... off to try and impress them. You could very well be right, Sete could be on his last legs. Bad crashes have been known to destroy riders' confidence to the point of retirement (eg. Schwantz) and Gibernau`s confidence was hanging in the balance to begin with. He used to be able to run with Rossi. Then again, so did Tamada. So long ago.....

Ever since the interview when he took the pole in Mugello...he seems like he's kissing Ducati's ... to keep his job.....you know? After this accident...I think you're right that Duc won't keep him for a 2nd shot....especially if the Hoffer can come in and show him up....you can bet Gibs will be watching that race..........

hoff wont have enough time to do anything spectacular ...sure its another Duke, but he needs time to adapt to the bike ... oh and to the bridgestones too. He can see what its like to have a decent set of tyres

LMAO! ... good one.

hoffman's chance to not end up at the back.he'll maybe be midpack if he does'nt bin it. as far as sete is concerned well ducati i suspect would like a younger rider. as said before they got rid of checa & he was doing pretty damn good if u ask me. they should have given him at least this season to prove his worth. but he too is an aging spaniard. so like sete will be after his contract runs out, was let go. i think ducati would liked to have had hopper riding the #2 machine besides loris this season but obviously it did'nt work out for them. hoppers loss i think. ducati's as well. i think they settled for sete. i think he's 1 of the most talented riders out there but he has the absolute worst luck i think a racer could have. i think his confidence has taken such a beating from rossi to all the rotten luck from last season & now the crash. that i think he's gonna be a cling on to yer career mid packer for the rest of his racing days...... i hope i'm wrong.

I forget where I read it now but I've heard rumors they are already looking around for his replacement. I'm sure it's all speculation and wishful thinking because the rider linked to possibly being the next Marlboro Man is linked to factory Honda and Yamaha rides as it is. Nicky Hayden.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hofmeister puts it in the top 10. He's been riding a detuned version of the bike all season so he knows the bike's characteristics. Aboard the Kwaker he was a solid points finisher and the Duke is a few steps up from there. And this is his first year away from Bridgestone in years, he'll know exactly how they work. He's going to have a good outing.

no way! i think hrc will keep him on the repsol team for sure now. he's doing a great job & really the team could'nt be anymore sponser friendly. think about it. with repsol now breaking into the u.s. market & hondas own u.s. market to cosider. mb's repsols spanish rider. everybody's happy.
