Marquez loses competitive streak

But again , and by all means correct Rossi Hating me (said as I do not wear yellow undies, pj's or clothing) but did he not do EXACTLY as your type of person (that being a Rossi fan) asked of him?

Was it not the Rossi Fan who said that you do not race to impact a championship leader or contender?

I mean, what has changed over two weeks ...................

I've mentioned this in 3 different threads. No matter the answer, Rossi looks like a fool. Thats why the question cannot/will not be addressed.

I totally agree but I bet if Rossi were in the lead Marquez would have fought much harder! I don't agree with what Rossi said as I think ever race should be raced for the win.

So you agree and yet Marquez did wrong ..........

And for the record, Rossi was not in front so if, buts and maybes mean very little ............ or as my father used to say, 'is its a case of if your aunt had balls she would be your uncle', some .... didn't happen, get over it and accept what is before you

Been asking it as well Levi and asked here to again raise the point ........... it is the unanswerable question at the moment for the sheer fact that either answer has immediate retort that may not suit an agenda.

Who knows though, sooner or later we may gets an answer

Edited to add --- I wonder what Michael Laverty thinks?

Marquez did wrong because he didn't make an attempt to fight for that win. He sat rather comfortably in second making sure no harm came to Lorenzo to ensure Rossi did not win! I don't care who won its more of how it happened. Rossi should have expected it after what happened last race. The sport has gone a bit formula1 'ish'

MM is in a position to be controversial because of his talent and his achievement, that earns him a ride and the opportunity to be there in the middle of it all. He has a life. Rossi made himself a target by opening his mouth and making unprovable allegations in order to gain some personal benefit. But, he is 9 time WC and filthy rich, he also has a life.

Those who are joining VR in these unprovable accusations have no achievement to deliver them a seat at the table, all they can do is bleat pathetically in unison. Perhaps they should get a life of their own.

The fact that Rossi is continuing to slander MM after losing the championship is nothing short of bizarre. I suspect that he is deluded in thinking that he can do this without repercussions.

The body language from Ezpeleta when VR instructs him to "come to my motorhome later" is ambiguous, but the fact that Rossi is comfortable talking to him like that is very telling. It looked to me like Ezpeleta was either embarrassed at Rossi's blatant indiscretion or like he was humouring him like he would a favourite dog that he was about to put down.

I dunno.
When Lorenzo is in full hammer (and he was on Sunday) mode, how easy it to just tool around behind him?
Was Marquez riding wheels-in-line or did you see his bike moving?

He just didn't look like he was riding how he normally does. Yes I agree, Lorenzo is one fast man, but Marquez had the pace. At full pace Marquez is all over the place which didn't seem to happen Sunday!

I don't think there is any doubt Marquez was going to do whatever it took within the rules to deny Rossi the title, even if it meant losing a race he could have POSSIBLY won. That's where Rossi ...... up, he made an enemy out of the guy who has the talent to decide who wins the title.Had he not come unhinged and went the opposite direction , maybe praising and even giving Marquez a hug for taking 5 points from Lorenzo at PI, he would probably be holding the championship trophy today. Exactly, cue my tongue in cheek thread starter

Serous question. Do you have the video pass? Have you watched any of the post race press where your questions were asked and answered?

Yes i have the video pass and yes i watched live and have seen every interview/video,i have no questions that needed answering post race, only stating that it is obvious Marquez didn't try 100% to win that race and for obvious reasons ,personally i think Rossi` was his own worst enemy opening his mouth in Sepang and he has not won the title because of his own actions ,next year i will be hoping that Pedrosa gets his first MotoGp crown as i think he is the only one to come out of recent events with any dignity

So you only heard ehat you wanted to hear and not what was actually said...

Simply because they can't, and it's great :)

I've checked his Twitter, surprisingly quiet..

Totally agreed, the hen has been controlling the rooster in the hen house for too long, and this hissy fit makes me wonder if Ezpeleta has had enough. Rossi if he isn't careful is going to have a harsh reminder that he isn't bigger than the sport.

Where is that video by the way?

I dunno.

He wasn't as wild as usual, but he did run wide at least twice.

Ah, to invoke Mr. Oxley- armchair experts. God bless 'em.

You may have been 'comfortable' on your recliner, beer in one hand, popcorn in the other with a limp .... as Vale's title hopes faded away, but from what I saw Marquez was at the absolute limit.

There is nothing 'comfortable' about racing a 1 litre 250 bhp Moto GP bike - particularly around a circuit as physically demanding Valencia. More so when the guy that you are trying to chase down is relentlessly peeling off 1.31s. Like Catalunya this track, as I pointed out yesterday, has one line - which makes passing exceptionally difficult. As Crutchlow commented, who after all rides the ....... thing and is fairly well placed to opine on the relative strengths and deficiencies of the RCV - so I'll take his word over yours, the RCV is still prone to spinning up on the throttle, although it was clear to me that Marc was lining him up on the brakes and was set to strike on the penultimate lap as he did at Indy. On the subject of Catalunya, watch the 2013 race where exactly the same happened when Marc found himself behind Dani. Meanwhile the strength of the M1 is the way it hooks up out of the corner. I still maintain, (perhaps that's something to be revived over the close season and yet another thread) that the 2015 RCV is a ....... to ride compared to the Yam. It hasn't stopped Marc trying to emulate last years exploits but has chucked it into the fence more than once because of this.

Perhaps he was slightly tentative facing the prospect of taking out the WC elect. I agree, had that have been Rossi up front there is a possibility he would have taken greater risks...but it was Lorenzo - and that is why he is 2015 World Champion.

Plus BOTH Honda riders going for the win kinda shot them in the foot. Had Pedders been told to hold back we may well have seen Marquez win. But with them trying to win the team mate battle, they lost the war.

I love how the Rossi haters blame Rossi for opening g his mouth and causing this... It's so obviously true what MM has done, even if Rossi had kept quiet it would have happened anyway... All I can say is MM has done himself more damage than he thinks, 80% of the crowd at Valencia were Rossi fans and many of them Spanish.... And also he's got a livid Rossi after his blood, roll on 2016!!

And your proof of this is where?

Keep licking your wounds...there is life after Rossi worship. :giggle:

Rossi haters got an early Christmas gift this year. You think they even care about the MM dilemma ? Whatever Marquez did, Rossi haters don't give a .... about it; they just are enjoying how Rossi lost the title and how his fans are crying about it. No kidding, the fact that his fans are so crying about it really makes my day even more.

MM has enough Spaniards supporting him. Just look in Spanish newspapers where majority of Spaniards say Marquez didn't do any wrong yesterday. I never bought any motogp shirt for myself but I just ordered one from Marquez, my new hero

For someone who professes to be such a fan of the sport, the absence of any accolade for Tito winning his final Moto2 race seems rather ungraceful. After helping you slice your lap times, too.
Or is your anti-hater crusade too distracting?

Why would I waste my time congratulating tito to a bunch of neanderthal Rossi haters?! I did it in person yesterday thank you... I can't get over what a bunch of pricks you lot are.....oh and marquez did nothing wrong yesterday, if he's content finishing 2nd and his team mate 3rd after forcing him wide good enough for him...well done Marc!
