Well.....Where do we start?!! Firstly Julian Ryder and Keith Huewen are ridiculously awful on BT Sports.... I can't believe they profess to be 'experts' in their field......
Ok I am a Rossi fan, but I believe I'm a very fair one who considers all aspects of Motogp. Rossi ''was'' on the verge of a remarkable 10th World title after 2 years in the wilderness at Ducati and 1 tough year in his first season back at Yamaha. Everyone slated him for axing Jeremy Burgess saying he's searching for something and he's simply lost it at his ripe old age and should bow out gracefully..... He then clearly finds his way again which he knew was possible and finishes 2nd to an unbelievable Marquez, no mean feat in itself!
So he's had the upper hand on Lorenzo(No. 1 rider) in 2014, now on the verge of winning a ridiculous 10th title with unbelievable consistency in 2015. Lorenzo at this point is thinking(f**k me this can't be happening! I'm the No.1 rider...) Then Marquez also thinks Hmmm he's outdone me this year(cheated me out of the title) and if he wins title number 10, I need one more extra to be the GOAT AND he's still around next year and beyond, oh no.....!
In my opinion Marquez has got a point about the Argentina crash, even I as a Rossi fan believe there's a 90% chance Vale did see Marquez's vulnerable front wheel lurking next to his rear wheel when he glanced to his right knowing there's only one winner in that fight, so executed a small movement to the right of a normal line to clash with Marquez...and the reason being Marquez disgustingly rammed Vale up the arse after his pass in the right hander and Vale thought 'ok pal is that how it is eh!!' Bamm!
Assen on the other hand is a totally no questions win for Vale with Marquez angry at Rossi's perfect position and late braking to cover all possibilities of a Marquez triumph even when Marquez tried the 'Bulldozer'!!
People should take note that Rossi gave Pedrosa glowing praise in Aragon for their battle and praised Ianonne in P.I. Close racing is welcomed by all including Rossi if it's out and out best position racing from all parties, Marquez's slow qiuick slow quick manipulating isn't racing in anyones book and he's been a disgrace for doing it(twice).
So....... Marquez should accept defeat this season, take stock and see he's been taught a lesson and bring the fight to Rossi head to head in 2016. You should NEVER intentionally ruin a title contenders chances because you can't accept losing!! Marquez is a terrible loser, Rossi has ALWAYS been magnanimous in defeat, he'll hate it BUT accept it!!
No question has Marquez played games in Phillip Island, to make over 1.1 seconds on the final lap of a race after 'overheating the front' is absolute boll**ks. No other Honda riders complained of the issue, Marquez undoubtedly had the pace to disappear into the distance! Rossi also did 7 laps faster than Lorenzo showing clearly enough pace to take 2nd position, but Marquez decided to YoYo his lap times to keep a gap between Lorenzo and Rossi, once achieved he put the hammer down with a 'miracle' last lap! A disgraceful tactic to manipulate the championship outcome!
So! Rossi so enraged he decides to make it clear in the press conference, then it's all 'mind games' according to most press. Rossi is obviously really worried about being cheated out of a 10th title and rightfully so after so much hard work! So wants the spotlight on Marquez to diffuse another dirty game before it happens! Marquez clearly upset for being found out decides to do it even worse in Sepang knowing unless any rules are broken he's ok to proceed with it. As Michael Laverty said, the unwritten rule is not to mess with title contenders races, not by any means does that mean 'move over' it just means race for your best result but don't get overly aggressive around riders with so much at stake. Marquez ignores all etiquette and winds Rossi up to breaking point as he sees Lorenzo disappear again for the 2nd time, so here we are now with Rossi's chances shot! I don't agree with what Rossi did, but in the circumstances I understand it, and if he hadn't a nasty crash was inevitable!!
For me new rules need to be put in place for ex-racers or experts to analyse lap to lap data and cross reference with other identical bikes to see a rider is playing fair or playing 'dirty'. For me if something doesn't happen this is the start of something really really bad in a sport so so great!
Sportsmanship has to prevail or you'll possibly not get a worthy champion in many cases in the future, which no one wants to see! For me if Lorenzo wins the title it will be forever tainted although he may have beaten Rossi on a level playing field. Now we'll never know! As for Marquez, I think he's done himself irreparable damage, Rossi has and always will be the golden boy of MotoGP, his wrong doing in Sepang will be forgotten by many. This whole situation started from Marquez calling Rossi a cheat in Assen!!!
