Well, while we are posting funny witty stories, I think this one is one of the funniest with the added advantage that its MotoGP related. I found myself genuinely laughing out loud.
Thanks for the explanation Kropo. It was hilarious. I've decided to send you a donation and I hope others reading this will do the same. Btw, I would have paid at least $20 to see the expression on Lorenzo's face when you handed him the quote. That is some set of ball you got. So I'll send you the money and just imagine what his face might have looked like.

Side note2, I offered once before, so here goes again, you are welcome to stay in 5+ star accommodations (actually, countless stars, its really a beautiful night sky at Laguna). ...., I'll even put you in an RV all to yourself, so you can sleep and do the Lord's work in privacy, that's no ......... You pay for the flights, I'll pay for your camping inside your own private RV. Sometimes you have to stay with the people to get a vibe of the spectator's perspective man. Nobody will think less of you if you write your commentary staying with the Fourth Estate (which had I been you, I would have done for Motegi, that is, slipped Lorenzo a quote for the amount of you staying at camping facility and single coach flight, that would have made the point that you really really want to be there and willing to get your feet a bit dirty, with a bit of radioactive dust, for the privilege of covering the event).
Hope this gets you closer to Laguna
